Marinette's POV

Felix and I made our way to the lunch room and spotted Alya, Nino, Adrien, and just to my luck, Chloe and Sabrina.

I spun around on my heel but unfortunately, Alya caught me.
"Hey, girl! Over here!" She called, and I slowly turned around with a forced smile.

Alya was sitting across from Adrien, and next to Nino. Chloe had Sabrina on her right and was sitting to Adrien's right. I looked at Chloe and decided with spite, I'd sit next to Adrien.

Felix sat next to Alya across from me. Chloe glared at me but I looked at her innocently. I grazed my hand against the bandaid on my chin subtly and Alya caught the message,
"I didn't know Chloe sat here."
"Oh, yeah. Sorry we didn't warn you." Alya laughed guiltily.
"It's ok." I said, clutching Felix's sweatshirt over my forearms.

"Why does she sit here with you guys anyway?" I caught Adrien's eyes going to Felix's sweatshirt and my hands gripping the sleeves. I released them and leaned on my hand.
"What's wrong with my sitting with my boyfriend, Marinette?" Chloe leaned forward and glared at me.

"Oh nothing," I smiled at her, "I just figured you'd think you're too good for us. No offense." I said to Alya and Nino.

I could barely make out Adrien mumble,
"Not you too."
"None taken." Alya shrugged, "Actually, we were thinking the same thing." She said, looking at Chloe with an annoyed look.the blonde next to me decided to break up the conversation.

"Where'd you get that sweater, Marinette?" He wondered, poking his food with his fork. I raised my eyebrow slightly,
"Oh, it's Felix's. I was feeling cold so..." He nodded but I could tell he was wondering how I was cold when it was so warm out.

"Hey, wanna get some drinks with me?" He asked, pointing to the juice stand at the front of the cafe Féria and standing. I glanced at Alya who shrugged. Chloe wasn't even trying to hide the glare she was sending me, warning me not to go. I grinned,
"Sure!"

"What do you guys want?" Adrien asked them as we stood up, about to walk up. I sent Chloe a quick pouty face , and she only got more angry. "Lemon, right Chlo?" She sighed and barely managed to control her anger,
"Yeah, Adrikins, thanks." She said with a sickly sweet voice.

"You guys want anything?" I asked Alya, Nino, and Felix.
"We'll share a watermelon." Alya said, leaning against Nino's shoulder. I nodded,
"Fé?" He looked away and pursed his lips. He was extremely indecisive when it came to small things like this. He could only ever make decisions when he was under pressure.

"We'll share?" He clicked his tongue before nodding, knowing he wouldn't make a choice anyway.
Adrien nodded and led me over to the juice cart. Once we were out of earshot, I asked, "What'd you mean when you said, 'Not you too'?"

"You heard that?" He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, "Well, Alya and Nino...they are the most fond of Chloe." He admitted, and I pressed my lips together, Wow! That's crazy! I can't think of any possible reasons why!

"Uh Huh."
"And, judging by your hostility towards Chloe, you don't like her either." I looked up at his, admittedly, handsome face.
"You...aren't wrong. Why do you care what I think though?"

"Well, you're my friend, right?" I wet my lips,
"I hope so."
"So, I care about your opinion."
"I mean, Alya and Nino are your friends. It doesn't seem like their opinions have affected your relationship thus far." Dang it. "Thus far"? Who says that?

I glanced over my shoulder and saw that Chloe was still boring holes into my back. I looked back forward and watched in horror as my foot landed on a school hotdog on the floor. I stumbled and yelped in panic, about to fall on my face when Adrien caught my arm.
