Chapter Ten: Learn your place

We are sitting on the dock cuddling when I think out loud," I don't even know you," lifting my head and laughing while wipping my tears. Xavier picks me up buy my waist and sets me beside him. Kind of irritated me, I liked the tingles, "Then let's get started," it kind of confused me. Then he laughes, so I wacked him in the arm, "What," he laughes more and I wack him in the arm again, "You know Jen, curiosity killed the cat," I then get flustured! I'm part cat! That's not funny! Ugh.

He then looks out to the sun set, and I take my chance and plop my booty on his lap. Happily I caught him buy suprize. He rapped his arms around me and pulled me close. I love this feeling. He then kisses my cheek and down my neck. I love this tell I shiver and realize he found my sweet spot. Shit. He then nibbles on it, and man it felt so good, I couldn't hold back the small moan that left me, I felt him chuckle and look and grin at me. I wacked him in the back of the head. He chuckled more.

I rested my head on his shoulder, and started to ask questions like, what was his home like, would his parents like me, when his birthday was. I then felt him getting angry. And I was afraid I said something wrong. So I stayed quiet. I then hear him growl after a minute or two. I look at him and am confused, what's wrong? I wave my hand infront of his face but he dosnt notice so I think, he must be in a pack link. He then starts to growl more and get more angry, I shake his shoulders like crazy, "Xavier! Xavier! You hoo Xavier," finally after about 5 minutes he wakes up, "What," I breath out in relief, "You have been out for 10 minutes," he looked at me confused, "Really?" I nodded, "I started to freak out when I felt your anger, then you growled. I thought I said something wrong. Then saw you were in mindlink," I grabbed me and nuzzled me closer, "I could never be mad at you," I couldnt help the smile on my face and I kissed his cheek.

He nibbled on my sweet spot again and I tensed up. I look at him and wack him again, "Now, what's your full name?" He then pulls me closer, "Xavier Adam Hackney. What about you beautiful," I couldnt stop blushing, "Jennifer Hailey Clearwater. Your turn," I see him deep in thought. I barley catch his question, "How old are you," weird, "19. You?" He got a big smile and I near melted at his gorgeous smile, "21. Your turn," I then move my legs so I'm straddling him, he pulls me closer but a thought comes to mind, I'm not the first girl he's had sex with.. I see he about to kiss me but I ask, "How many times have you had sex," he froze and I winces. The hurt. Really bad. Like a bullet to the heart. I saw his concern, "Its okay," I'm sure he could tell I was hurt.

We were silent for a while, " I have had sex to, its okay" I then felt his anger. Wait? He's angry? He looked away from me and put his hands at his sides with clenched fists. That's when I got angry. I stood up and he looks at me, "You know Xavier, yeah I had sex before, but I am not a slut like you! I can keep my legs closed! I have had sex 5 times, you cant even count yours! Your pathetic!" And stormed off the dock. I probably hurt him but I don't really care. I am pissed. Yes I am still going with him. He's my mate. I'll never reject him. To much pain. I shift to my tiger and take off.

And hour has gone by, I found some rouges and killed them. I am now arriving home. I told my dad what happened. He doesn't really like Xavier, and I don't blame him.

I walk in the camper and start packing. I told my dad I would be back in a week to help finish. I then plop my stuff in my truck and call for Caleb, "Caleb! Come on! We are leaving now!" He says his last good byes to dad and hops in the truck.

I start driving down the street. I turn down into the woods, Caleb keeps whinning about the bumpy roar but I keep driving. And after about 10 minutes, we arrive. I hop out and hook my truck to the trailor and toss my stuff in Xavier's truck.

I get to the door of the camper to see him packing, "My stuffs in the back of the truck, and Calebs coming with us" I look at him and have to fight back my tears. I walk past him and slip into the bathroom and turn the shower on as loud as I can and begin to cry. I couldn't stop. I cried for 5 minutes tell I smelt Xavier outside the door. He spoke softly,"I am so sorry Jennifer. I never ment to hurt you. I'm just territorial. You mean everything to me and I don't deserve you....before are dream, I used to not want a mate, I begged to never find her. But after our dream, I was so determined to find you. I fell inlove with you at first sight. I crave for your touch. I know I have screwed up bad but please forgive me. Its eating me up inside," I froze at his words... he never wanted me... he wanted sex from who ever he wanted. All because of a dream, he changed? I was so hurt inside. Like I had just been rejected.
