Chapter Two: Peek-A-boo

It felt so good to run. It made me feel amazing. My tiger fur blew elegantly through the wind, my stripes shimmering gold, the sun made it shine even more, like fire. If I was standing all the way up, I would be 7'4, tall as hell huh.

There are a few thing you should learn in my world, there are werewolves, weretigers, vampires and demons. Have you ever seen paranormal diaries? Yeah, people actually thought that was a movie, that was a demon. The sequels were fake though.

Demons are some big mean monsters with a bad temper to match. They are a humanoid creature with large bull horns. Similar to the body of a minotaur. They can get as big as eight and a half feet tall. They have the ability to appear invisible and have a lust for destruction. They are a giant, invisible, tank essentially. They often travel alone or in a pair of twos.

Vampires are what you could typically expect, human like, very pale, they don't burn in sunlight but severely weakened. They are extremely fast and often known as everlasting, meaning they don't age if they keep up with their appetite and you guessed it, blood. They hate silver and sometimes depending on the bloodline can perform small spells. The older a vampire is, the stronger and faster they become. They tend to stay in groups between five to ten and call themselves a coven.

Weretiger, as in the name have the similar abilities as to shifting into a creature like werewolves, in their case typically a large cat. Depending on their tribes and parents determine the kind they turn out to be. They are excessively large, the largest get to the height of almost eight feet. They are very powerful, stealthy animals and have the best vision out of all species. They are known to either travel alone or in prides of five.

Werewolves and tigers were made to destroy vampires and demons mainly due to the reason they often attack humans, which is a very forbidden act amongst all because our life style is hidden to them, but dogs don't like cats, cats don't like dogs which makes working together rather... difficult to say the least.

When fighting other creatures, weretigers are mean, they kill first and ask questions later. It dangerous enough fighting a weretiger but don't ever and I mean ever corner one, or you won't come out alive. Its said it takes atleast ten normal wolves to take one down and those are just the small ones, that's the normal were's, Alphas though? Are just as big and mean so they can take on most tigers, their size helps even the fight and wolves are rather powerful themselves. Even with that said, even I still avoid conflict with weretigers.

Anyways, I was walking to the lake taking in the fresh quiet air, once I got there it was beautiful. The way the sun hit the water was breathtaking. Soft clouds of mist moved along the surface of the water. I plopped down on a rock ledge that reached just above the water and drank. Let me tell you, that was some clean and fresh water. It was amazing.

I was thinking about jumping in till I smelt a weretiger. I rose from my spot, my weretiger's dark brown blew through the wind, I was taller than my wolf, my wolf stand seven feet tall, my gold strips shined beautifully in the sun. I had three inch canines than hung out of my mouth about twelve inches long, my teeth were razor sharp, and my claws are sharp enough to cut a tree down in one swipe. Its rare when I lose my temper but when I do, you better hope to god you don't get caught in my rage when I'm angry.

I silently stalked over to it. How did I not hear it? The direction of the wind changed. I shifted my path to move down wind.

After walking for some time, I smelt it right in front of me, I looked everywhere, but no tiger. I sniffed around and found a small bush, I looked in an didn't see a weretiger but a cub. He was the cutest thing. He had a light grey body with jagged spots he looked sad and scared. I sat next to the bush protecting it till its mother came back...
