Chapter Fifthteen : My mate!

Xavier P.O.V.

When Jennifer came barreling into Riley arms she shouted, "RILEYYY!!!!" And he returned with a "Kitten!!!", he then spun her. Me and my wolf grew very angry that a trader like him was touching my mate. My wolf then took over and growled at them. Jennifer lifted her head, "Oh shush Xavier,you have no competition here," But my wolf still growled. Then the thing I call a brother spoke, "This girl is like my adorable little sister,huh kitten?" Jennifer nodded and I went silent. Sister? But I didn't let it phase me, I still boiled in anger, "Jennifer here now," she then snorted a laugh and I got more angry ," Xavier I'm serious, Iv known Riley since I was 5, and he's got his mate and a kid," I then couldn't help but be confused, did my brother really have a kid I didn't know about?

Jennifer sighed catching my attention, "Yes I know all about Riley's past,do I care? No. He's your brother and I know him better than you ever will. He's protected me when my father couldn't. He's family, my dad loves him and me and his mate are bestfriends. I used to babysit their son Jakob all the time. Cutest kid ever by the way," I growled, "He's a trader,", let me tell you why he's a trader. When we were kids he became bestfriends with a rouge kid, and towards about 17 this kids dad died and accused are pack. Riley told him everything about our pack, and so he and 200 rouges attacked us and killed 150 men, women and children. When we were killing the last of the rouges, last stood the friend and his right hand man, but Riley stood up for him, said he didn't know what he was doing, and just angry of his father's death. And all of us grew angry. Father still killed them and banished Riley. So he is a trader.

I was brought out of my thoughts when Jen sighed again, "No, he was stupid. Everyone makes stupid mistakes. He even tried to fix them but your dad and you are strict asses and don't give others a second glance," yes... he did try to come back 3 years later, but we only saw a trader when we looked at him.

Seconds later I feel my mate fill with panic. Riley must have noticed because he went to place a hand on her back but then bam! She took of towards the house and fast. She shifted and picked up speed. Riley and I shifted, taking off after her.

A good 2 minutes went by and I see Caleb surrounded by some of my pack members, when I get there all I hear is Jennifer shouting, "How dare you threaten your Lunas cub! With his life! You're lucky I'm not taking yours!" I went silent and watched the scene before me. Once they realized what they did all of them but one started saying 'I'm sorry luna,' then kyle a warrior of mine didnt. And Jennifer got pissed. She shouted," You wanna fight?! Let's fight!" And started to claw into his face. After a good 10 minutes he submitted. I knew she was just going easy on him. If she would have full blown hit his face, his jaw would have a came off.

She then sent them off and turned when Caleb went crying in her legs. It angered me that someone nearly harmed this little club. A low growl escaped me when all you hear out of Caleb's little sobs are, "Mommy!" It felt like a shit ton of pain hit me, Jennifer's anger skyrocketed. She sent him to me and took off into the wolves direction.

I rubbed Caleb head with my paw, "Shhh it's okay.. I promise I won't ever let that happen again," his sobs died down.

I nearly jumped, forgetting my brother was here when he spoke, "What's his name?" I looked at his black wolf with yellow eyes, "This is Caleb," he bended down and looked at Caleb, "Hey bud, I'm uncle Riley, It's nice to meet you," Caleb sobs died down and he spoke quietly, "Are you mommies friend... or Xaviers?" That's when Riley looked at me funny, "I'm mommies friend," Caleb smiled and jumped on his face like when he first met me. Riley had the same reaction to. Caught off guard but started playing with him.

I look up went I see my bloody mate walking our way. I growled and ran to her," Are you hurt?" She shook her head and headed for the house. I grew frantic watching her head for the house. She then froze and shouted, "Gabe, come. Now," I turned my head to see a small wolf. On in which I had never seen before, red fur with a pepper like grey all over. But I knew better. It was a rouge.
