Chapter Fourteen: Riley!

Nicolas and I get outside as see Xavier and his dad take off.

Something had nudged me, I look over to see Nicolas with a mischievous smile. I looked at him confused.

Seconds later I am not looking at my handsome muscular friend Nicolas. I was looking at a giant leopard shaped tiger with gray fur, no spot or strips, the tip of his feet, ears, tail and muzzle were black, and he had canines like mine but a little bigger. I looked over him with amazement at his appearance. He nudged his head in my side which made me shift into my beautifully brown tiger. I turn my head to see complete awe from Nic.

I looked forward and roared as loud as I could, shortly followed by Nicolas and I tell you want, he had some lungs on him. One last look at eachother and we took off towards the bigger group of rouges.

Nicolas managed to be a little faster than me and tore threw the first rouge.

I jumped and extended my claws as I landed on a blonde rouge, crushing it with all my weight. I looked up to see every pair of eyes on Nicolas and I. I roared at the rouges and they went running. Hmm, I always love a good chase.

I take off after them, taking a glimpse over my shoulder to see Nicolas hot on my trail. When I looked forward I saw a wall of at least 30-35 rouges growling at me and Nic. We roared back and started ripping them apart, on by one.

I dug my claws into a red and gray rouge, he was young and yelped in pain. The boy looked 16 at the oldest. I froze were I stood and looked at the kid. He quickly submitted when a black rouge male, about 30 jumped from behind him and tackled me, getting me off my feet.

Rouges left and right started snapping at my paws. I look up as a pair of teeth threatened my life. Just as I'm preparing to die, I close my eyes and wait in silence. But it never can. I heard many growling and barking.

I looked to see that little runt I attacked before attacking the older male. He looked at me in worry and I saw him losing. He was getting tag teamed on.

I slowly rose to my feet and rose my head as high as I could and roared the loudest I have ever done, and the little muts went scattering expect the young red rouge.

I began to stalk towards his smaller figure as I watched him shiver in fear. Every step closer his shivers grew more noticable. When I get inches from his face he whimpers in fear. I raised my paw, which he closed his eyes, I gentally places my paw on top of his head and licked his forehead covering him with my scent then took off back to Nicolas.

Just as I'm reaching Nic's side I hear a howl of surrender from Xavier's dad.

I immediately took off in its direction. I would have gotten to him sooner but the rouges kept coming in like a wave from the ocean.

After ripping a rouges head off I look up as my Alpha fell to the ground.

I grew angry. More than angry. I grew rage. I shifted to my wolf but I was on fire and took off towards Alpha, everything dodged me, and they only see a fire ball. I began to shoot fire balls at the rouges on top of him.

Just as I'm about to reach him I get a link from Xavier, 'Whatever you do, don't put out your fire,' I thought of what to do, how could I used my power to benifit? I'm going to have to push my limits today. I always hate having to push them. Last time I had to I blacked out for 2 days.

I'm now standing over my scared Alpha and already called back my pack. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath and thought fire. When I open my eyes I don't see my fire ball but a wave of fire in every direction, killing all rouges in reach. I needed to push farther. I was letting Charles take control. As he rose to the surface the fire grew more hot, and bigger, wider. I watched in amazment at are power. But it was soon to come to an end as I felt are body weakening.

I nearly blackout when I see Xavier walking my way. His small human form was tiny to my wolf. Like a toddler to a 6'4 man. He places a hand on my chest and once before my fire dissppeared instantly. I hear Xavier cough,"Impressive babe," I looked down at my frightened Alpha and sighed.

After stepping off the Alpha Xavier started telling my story so I went in search for clothes. Luckly I found a nice fit T- shirt and some comfy sweats. I came back with 2 pairs of shorts for Xavier and his dad.

They continued to talk but were great full for clothes. And I gentally places myself in my mates lap at the end of the story. I tuned out the rest. He's going to say he will keep it a secret and I know he will.

We are now walking back to the house when Xavier's dad spoke up, "So a gold wolf huh?" Then a gasp. We turned to see Ashley half burnt. How did I not notice her? Why am I so destracted? And what's that familiar scent? I blink and see Xavier take off as his wolf to Ashley. I just jogged behind. I waved Alpha off and he continued to the house.

The scent was not getting stronger and stronger.

I'm coming up on Xavier and a man just as tall but dirty blonde hair, muscular like Xavier, his bright blue eyes and strong jaw line. Only one man I know who fits that description.

I ran and rumpled in his arms, "RILEYYY!!!!!" He started to laugh, "Kitten!!" He spawn me around.

There was a loud menacing growl. I lift my head to see Xavier with black eyes, "Oh shush Xavier, you have no competition here," he still growled Riley then spoke, "This girl us like my adorable little sister,huh kitten?" I nodded my head. Xavier when quiet, "Jennifer here now," I snorted a laugh ," Xavier I'm serious, Iv known Riley since I was 5, and he's got his mate and a kid," he went silent and confused.

I sigh, "Yes I know all about Riley past,do I care? No. He's your brother and I know him better than you ever will. He's protected me when my father couldn't. He's family, my dad loves him and me and his mate are bestfriends. I used to babysit their son Jakob all the time. Cute kid ever by the way," he then growled again, "He's a trader," I sigh again, "No, he was stupid. Everyone makes stupid mistakes. He even tried to fix them but your dad and you are strict asses and don't give others a second glance," he looked hurt.

I was about to speak again but suddenly I felt off, 'Charles?' I then realize he has been growling for a while ,'Caleb' was all he said and took off to the house. I was in complete panic.

I shifted to my tiger and push myself faster.

After a good minute I see the house coming into view. Charles growling has gotten louder causing me to boil in anger and growl.

I look to the side of the house to see my Caleb surrounded by 5 male pack wolves , "What you doing on are land were cub!" Caleb just shivered in fear, "Just kill him George," I roar catching their attention just when I jump over them and land over my cub.

I roared and sent all my power out. They all submitted but growled, "How dare you! Threaten your Lunas cub! With his life! Your lucky I'm not taking yours!" Once realization hit their faces a round of 'I'm sorry luna' echoed but I was pissed one stood out though. The biggest one. He growled. I got in his face and roared "You wanna fight mutt! Let's fight!" I waked him with my paw and my claws went in his side causing a yelp. I then use my other paw and hit his face causing a louder yelp.

After a couple blows he submitted and I dismissed them.

Taking a few breaths I turn to my cub, "Hey sweetie are you okay baby?" He came barreling into my legs and cries, "Mommy!" He but a barley sobbed out. That made me more angry. I leaned down, "Go to Xavier ok, mommy will be right back," he wiped his face with his paw and walked to Xavier.

I turn and ran after the mutts. I see them in the distance and I roar. Then looked at me in fear I walked to them, "You will apologize to my son! You worthless mutts! How dare you scare the day lights out of him! I'll be dealing your punishment!" All but the one said 'yes luna' I walked up to him, "I banish you," his face went blank.
