Peter
The next few hours were a blur. Doctor Strange successfully cast the time spell using the infinity stone, freezing Mr. Stark's body in a single moment of time. His wounds wouldn't get any worse until Strange released the spell. Wong opened the portal to Wakanda, and then things got really hectic.
Shuri was yelling medical jargon that Peter didn't quite understand, but her staff seemed to—they were moving fast as lightening. Strange, Dr. Banner ("Are you sure you're up for this, Bruce?" Natasha had asked him. "He's my friend. I'm not losing another friend today."), and Shuri disappeared into the operating room, leaving the rest of the team waiting outside. Pepper had since stepped out of her suit, and it had folded quite neatly into a suitcase form. She had cried upon seeing it, and Natasha had moved to comfort her.
Peter felt out of place. He wanted May. He wanted Tony, too. It wasn't fair, just a few hours ago, he had been with Peter, giving him a hug. Now, he was laying on a cold metal table fighting for his life—because he had been forced to risk his own for all of theirs.

Peter found himself sitting with his head in his hands, lost in his own thoughts.
Alexandra sat down by Peter, his leg was bouncing up and down nervously. Alexandra leaned back in her chair and glanced over at him. "He's gonna be okay," She said softly.
Peter glanced up at her. "What if he's not?" He questioned. "Tony's strong but—you saw what happened to Doctor Banner's arm—"
"Yeah, but Shuri has some of the best medical equipment and staff in the world here," Alexandra replied. "Trust me, I've seen her work—there's no way she's going to let this happen. I think it's her sole mission in life to fix broken white boys, and Mr. Stark definitely falls under that category."
At that, Peter huffed out a shaky laugh. He leaned back, allowing his head to rest against the wall, like Alexandra. The two of them sat in silence for a while, thinking.
"I'm a terrible nephew," Peter suddenly said. "I haven't even tried to call May—"
"Well, to be fair, you've had a lot on your plate."
"She's probably worried sick."
Silence again.
"I haven't tried to call my dads, either," Alexandra said. "And the last time I talked to my Dad—well, he was really worried about me coming to Wakanda." She sighed. "I wonder if he got dusted, too."
He glanced over at her. "Yeah."
Peter glanced around the waiting room. Pepper was sitting next to Natasha, who was whispering to her, probably in an attempt to calm her down. Steve was sitting staring out into space while Thor paced the room nervously. Colonel Rhodes stood silently near Pepper, his arms folded over his chest, his gaze fixed on the floor.
Peter's ears perked up when he heard Natasha's voice. He didn't mean to eavesdrop, but sometimes it just happened and he couldn't help it.
"Happy told me he's on his way right now," Natasha said softly. "Morgan is with him... he said that he didn't tell her what was going on yet."
Pepper nodded. "That's probably for the best," She answered, wiping her eyes. "She wouldn't understand what's going on."
Peter wondered who Morgan was.
🕷🕷🕷
He found out who Morgan was a few hours later when Happy (and May!) walked into the room with a hyperactive little girl. She squealed and rushed over to Pepper, who scooped the girl up into her arms and held her close. May then glanced over at them and spotted Peter. Her eyes welled up as she covered her mouth.
