Felix sighs as he walks into his shared apartment with his friend.

"Hyung! I'm home!" Felix's voice rang through the quiet house as he slipped off his shoes. "In the kitchen!" Another voice rang from the kitchen.

Felix sets his bag on the couch and walked over to the kitchen. "Hey, hyung," Felix says walking over to the male.

The male looks over and smiles. "Hey, how was the first day?" The male asks as Felix hopped onto the counter next to the stove. "Tiring," Felix mumbles. "You'll get used to it." Felix yawns and stretches upwards, nodding afterward.

"Go take a shower, dinner will be ready by then," the male says. "Okay, Changbin," Felix says and hops off the counter. He quickly hugs the male's arm before leaving the kitchen.

Only a chuckle and a smile came from Changbin.

Felix finished his shower and dried off quickly, smelling the food already. He slipped on his clothes and exited the bathroom with a big smile on his face. "Is it my favorite?" Felix asks as he sat down, Changbin placing the plates down.

"Yep, pancakes and bacon for dinner," Changbin says which received a child-like clap from Felix.

"What're you smiling about?" Felix asks, looking up from his plate at him. "Nothing," Changbin answers and started to eat before Felix could question him further.

Felix looked at him for a few seconds before happily eating his dinner.

"Oh, your dad came by today," Changbin says. Felix looks at him. "What did he want?" Felix asks. Changbin shrugs. "Ask if you were here, I said no," Changbin answers, knowing the tension between Felix and his father wasn't the best, especially since what happened.

"Did he ask where?" Felix asks. "Yeah. I said I don't know," Changbin answers, smiling internally as Felix rested his feet on top of his. "Okay," Felix says with a smile. "What time do you have to be at work?" Changbin asks. "Mhm...8 this time," Felix answers, remembering how he had to get up early this morning.

"When's your break?" Changbin asks. "Around 12," Felix answers. "Oh, did you know Jisung is working there too?" Felix asks. "Yeah. Minho told me the day Jisung got in. I thought you were going to a different one," Changbin answers.

Felix smiles and nods his head. "I'm glad I know at least one person there very well," Felix says. "Is everyone nice?" Changbin asks. "Yeah. The boss though...he's weird." Changbin raises a brow. "How weird?" Changbin asks. "Mhm...weirder than Minho for sure," Felix answers.

"You sure? Nobody is weirder than him," Changbin says. Felix chuckles and nods his head. "You're right. But it was my first day so I can't judge to quickly," Felix says. Changbin nods his head in agreement and they fall into a silence.

They finished their dinner and Changbin shooed Felix off to his room so he could sleep early. Once Changbin finished cleaning the dishes and putting them in the dishwasher, he went to Felix's room.

He opened the door to see Felix flipping through the channels. "You know, you act like a mom," Felix points out looking at him.

Changbin cheeks turn pink but he shakes off the feeling. "Not my fault I almost had to beat the living crap out of your dad back in high school," Changbin speaks. Felix chuckles at him. "Night, hyung. Thanks for making me dinner," Felix says. "It's fine. It's your turn to cook tomorrow."

Felix nods his head and Changbin leaves the room to his own.
