Chapter 3

Louis' POV

I don't know what's wrong with Allison. She's been upset ever since Harry walked in and interuppted our kiss. She excused herself after she met Liam and Sophia and that was over a half hour ago. I know she was upset early. I can't help but think of the face she was making as she said "Please don't act like this.". I feel like an asshole. She shouldn't be treated like that. Especially not now. We were all in the kitchen talking. I haven't said much since Allison went into the bedroom. After a few minutes, "I'll be back. I'm going to check on Allison."

Before anyone said anything I got up, walking into the bedroom. I didn't see her. I expected her to me sitting on the bed. I closed the door behind me. I don't want them hearing anything. I looked over at the bathroom door. I know she's got to be in there.

Allison's POV

Honestly I don't even know how long I've sat in here. I heard Louis walk into the bedroom. I guess he finally wants to talk about things. I don't know it I do. He knocked on the door. I sighed, standing up. I opened the door and saw him standing there. He looks relieved that I opened it. He mumbled, "What's going on, baby? Do you want to talk?"

I shrugged, "I don't know."

I walked past him, sitting on the bed. I looked back at him. He looks so confused. He walked over, sitting next to me. He looked at my left hand, "Where's your ring, baby?"

I looked up at him, opening my hand. I noticed tears start to form in his eyes, "Are you ending our engagement? Are you breaking up with me?"

I sighed, "No, I'm not going anywhere. I'm upset and stop thinking I'm going to leave every damn time something happens."

He looked at me shocked. I feel bad for that. I've never really talked to him like that before. I am upset about things though. He shook his head, "I'm sorry. I'm just used to everyone leaving."

I sighed, moving closer to him. I handed him my ring as he looked at me confused, "Are you giving it back to me?"

"No, after we talk I want you to put it back on my finger."

He nodded, "Okay, what's going on?"

"It hurt me that you were so rude earlier."

"With what Harry was going to say?"

I nodded, "Yes. I want to know what you two were talking about."

"When Niall first told me he liked you I told Harry. I didn't like it then and I still don't like it now. I know now that I can't do anything about it and I trust you to not do anything."

"Is that it with that?"

He nodded. I sighed, "Why were you sort of rude about it then?"

"I don't want Liam to know because I know he would tell Sophia and she would probably tell you."

"I kind of wish you would have told me sooner. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be."

He kissed my cheek, "Is there anything else you wanted to talk about?"

"Yeah, why did you introduce me as your girlfriend?"

He sighed, "I was hoping that you would want to wait long enough till dinner and we could tell everyone then."

"I want them to know. I want to tell Niall when he gets here."

He wrapped his arm around me, pulling me closer to him, "Are you sure that's what you want to do, love?"

I nodded, "It's nice being around people we don't have to hide everything from. I want them to know."

"Well as soon as this ring is back on your finger we can go out there and tell them."
