Yard and Coop

At the Yard and Coop, I quietly listened to Jason chat away with his friends. They were a lively bunch, clearly friends who had known each other for some time. It wasn't too long before their voices were drowned out by the voice of my inner thoughts that revolved around the mysterious, tattooed man who'd relentlessly chased me down a few blocks all the way to Central Park.

Why was I chased? Who chased me?

What would have happened to me if Jason hadn't introduced himself?

I didn't dare dwell on the thought.

"Aiden?"

"Hm?" I looked up from the beer glass I was intently staring into only to realize that everyone was looking at me. I couldn't help but blush out of embarrassment; here I was, a perfect stranger that had been invited to their intimate gathering, but I wasn't showing the least bit of interest in getting to know them.

"Are you sure you're alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," I lied and drank from my glass until it was half empty.

I made a genuine effort to get to know them. More importantly, I tried to forget the events of this morning -or at least push them to the back of my mind till later so I could focus on these wonderful people. I mean, they'd practically saved me from a grave danger, like getting mugged at least.

Jason, Jamie, Michael, and Johnny were construction workers. Looking at them, I wasn't surprised.

They were all fit individuals that made me want to immediately sign up for a gym membership that I'd stop going to two days later. Jason was especially well-built. His shirt was tightly stretched by broad shoulders over a muscled chest covering defined biceps. This man was no stranger to exercise and hard labor. I couldn't help but notice how attentive he was to me, how he was quick to give me his undivided attention when I spoke.

It made me nervous.

I wasn't an idiot. Jason clearly had the hots for me. I had to make it clear to him as soon as possible that I was... taken?

Wait. I wasn't taken. I had practically been dumped. Or was it me who did the dumping? When it came to the situation between me and Schneizel, I wasn't so sure about anything. Not anymore.

Face it, Aiden. He didn't want anything to do with you anymore. Why else would he not even bother to say goodbye?

Could I really blame him? I'd shown him explosive distrust, chosen to allow self-pity and doubt to poison my mind against him. I hadn't even listened to him when he tried to explain himself and had run away instead. Schneizel was a prideful man. Surely he'd want nothing to do with me after, hence his disappearance.

Now that I thought about it, he'd been drifting away from me for some time.

"So, Aiden." I met Jason's eyes, "What is it that you do?"

I hesitated.

Hi, I'm Aiden, an ex-con.

"I'm an author," I lied. They were nice people, but sharing the misery that was my life over beers on our first (and probably last) meeting was a bit too much. "I work from home."

Their responses were low, approving whistles.

"Anything of yours I might have read?" he asked, and only then did I realize the hole I'd dug myself into.

"N-Not yet. I'm working on my first book."

"What is it about?"

Dammit, he wasn't going to quit, was he?

"It's a secret," I quickly flashed him a nervous smile and tried to steer the discussion back to them. Luckily, I succeeded.

We spent the entire afternoon in the bar chatting and laughing away until the guys had to leave.

"It was nice hanging with you," I told them as we exchanged contact details outside the bar.

"We'll definitely hang out again." Confirmed Michael. Michael and Johnny left in the same direction, while Jamie left in the other. Jason, however, remained standing right next to me.

"Aren't you going too?"

"Nah, I'm free all day today. So, you live around here?"

"Yeah," I told him, and when he didn't say anything else, I realized the true meaning behind his question.

Did I dare invite him over, especially when I knew he had a thing for me?

Maybe the stalker is still around. It's definitely safer.

It was a no-brainer.

Meeting his gaze, I asked, "Do you want to come over?"

Jason smiled. "Sure. Here; a beer for the road."

I accepted it thankfully.

We drank all the way back to my apartment.

****

Jason slammed me into my door the moment my apartment's door closed. His mouth crashed into my mine. Shocked, I tried to push him away. Really, I did. But the way he was licking at my lower lip, asking for entrance felt too damned good. And the alcohol was affecting my brain, slowing my responses. Even my arms felt too heavy to move around. So, I surrendered and closed my eyes. His tongue immediately thrust into my mouth the moment I caved to his relentless advances.

Meanwhile, his hand found the hardening erection in my pants. I moaned into his mouth the moment he cupped it.

But Jason wasn't satisfied with just kissing and groping, it seemed. He shoved his massive hand into my pants and it circled around my now fully-erect dick. He freed it from my pants with a tug and proceeded to give me one hell of a hand job. In a matter of minutes, I was pumping my hot load all over the front of his shirt.

He finally broke the kiss, which made me open my eyes.

I let out a shocked gasp.

Standing right in front of me in place of Jason, holding my cock, was Schneizel.
