Everything was back to normal, Eugene was back at his house and they both forgot about the almost kiss, well Makoto remembers, he remembers how he drunk that night to numb the pain, how he broke his uncle's promise to never drink alcohol because Makoto's Adopted mother and Will's sister was a drinker and that's how his adopted parents died.

Makoto hasn't been drinking for a while, he's been smoking for a longer a habit he picked up from his best friend Nick. In truth Makoto was upset at himself for drinking, he never wanted to ever have a sip but he's hooked, and if Leon or Will ever found it he would be dead.

Makoto didn't want to go to school today, he wanted to skip but he knew if he did Will would be upset at him and give him a lecture on how he's ruining his future well it's funny because Makoto is already ruining his own future because he has no idea what he wants to do in life, and to him, that's okay, might not be ideal not knowing what you want to do at 17 but it's okay.

"Come on Makoto! You're gonna be late!" Will yells from downstairs, Will was taking him to school today which wasn't unusual since Will and Leon alternated days to take Makoto to school.

"I'm coming!" Makoto throws his backpack on his back and runs downstairs, grabbing an apple and a Clif bar he heads out to Will's car.

"When can I get my own car?" Makoto asks once Will got into the car.

"When we have enough money Makoto I told you this when you turned 16." Will rolls his eyes looking towards the road.

"Sorry, I just want my own car." Makoto looks down taking a bite of his apple.

"I know you do kiddo, but we're tight on cash right now." Will speeds up the car a little.

They made it to the school just in time, now Makoto wasn't going to step into the school he was just going to find his friends and ask if they wanna skip with him, which they do he'll definitely skip but he doesn't really wanna skip alone.

"Have a good day at school kid." Will pulls to the sidewalk and Makoto gets out.

Makoto walks over to the trash can and throws his apple core away then sets out to find his friends.

Makoto finds Aurora first who's leaning against the school wall smoking.

"Hey, I'm skipping school today, wanna join?" Makoto lowered his voice so only Aurora could hear him.

"If we go to the mall yes." Aurora blows out the smoked from her mouth.

"I was planning on it, now I gotta go ask Nick if he wants to come." Makoto takes a hit of Aurora's cigarette before she puts it out.

"I'll go start the car." Aurora walks to her car, out of the two 17-year-olds Aurora who is only 16 is the only one in the group that has a car, Nick doesn't even have his license.

Makoto takes a look around the school and finds Nick in his normal spot which is behind the dumpster, for two reasons, it's a good hiding spot and if the school bullies think he's already been in the dumpster they won't put him in the dumpster anymore and that trick has only worked twice.

"Hey, Nick." Makoto walks up to his oldest friend and squats in front of him.

"Hi, Koto." Nick sags against the dumpster letting his headrest on the dirty wall and the dumpster canister.

"I was wondering if you would like to skip school with Aurora and me?" Makoto tilts his head in question, helping Nick up when he enthusiastically nods his head yes.

Luckily Aurora pulled the car around so they didn't have to walk far to it, they walked up and opened the door, Nick sat in the front like all ways and Makoto sat in the back, Makoto didn't mind sitting in the back at all, he likes it.

"I love the gay mobile." Aurora sighs petting the hood of her car, ever since they all came out they've been calling this the gay mobile, of course, Makoto is pansexual, Aurora is a lesbian, and Nick is asexual, the gay mobile just made sense and it's stuck.

Aurora's car screeched as they pulled in front of the mall, Makoto got out and opened the door for Nick.

"Thanks." Nick gets out of the car and pulls out a cigarette and offers some to his friends which they decline as they will have to put it out in a minute because they're going to the mall.

"So, any reason why we're here?" Aurora asks her steel-toed books clicking against the linoleum floor.

"I need some new jeans." Makoto got a job as a library assistant so he had some money to spend without asking Will or Leon.

First and foremost they went into urban outfitters, it wouldn't be a shopping trip without going to urban outfitters.

"I want some ice cream," Nick whined lean against a rack.

"Then let's go get ice cream." Makoto puts what he was looking at back and walks towards the mall's ice cream spot.

He was almost there when he bumped into someone.

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" Makoto snapped at the guy he ran into but he immediately regrets it was Peter Parker, he was supposedly an intern for Tony Stark.

"Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going." Peter looked down tucking a piece of hair behind his ear.

"I probably should've watched too, no hard feelings?" Makoto puts his hand out and Peter shakes it.

"No hard feelings, look I gotta go my friends are waiting on me but maybe we can exchange numbers?" Peter held out his phone so Makoto could type his number in, once he was down he walked over towards his friends.

"Who was that?" Aurora asks smirking.

"That was Peter Parker, he's the intern for Tony Stark." Makoto squealed a little but the squeal stopped when his phone dinged and he saw he got a text from Will.

"Shit!"
