We all stepped up and knocked on the door. The man that was attacked ame to the door. "Yes?" He asked. "Our adopted sister came here with no warning. We saw you arguing and the we tripped and fell. We didn't know how, but you were attacked by a wolf. The question is, where is Kailee?" I asked him. He smirked. "Ah, so she didn't tell her family about her little secret, though it's not so little." "We know she's different, but we're still worried about her." Rydel yelled. He scoffed. "That girl can take care of herself. I'm surprised you didn't kick her out after killing a man and being covered in blood." "She protected a little girl!" Ross said through gritted teeth. "How do you know if she lied? You saw her tantrum in my office. Besides, she'll be off your shoulders soon. The hunters will get her and kill her. She would probably fight, but not now." Why?" I asked. "That girl has been fighting them hunters since she was 4. Now since she has a family, the hunters can use that against her. They will kill you if she doesn't do as they say. She doesn't want that, she wants to protect you. She'll kill herself for all she cares." He laughed. He shut the door, leaving me stunned. Kailee was going to risk her life for us? What are hunters? They never answered my question either. WHERE IS KAILEE?!
