Chapter 36

Kailee's POV

I sat up in my bed. I heard someone coming towards my room. I heard the lock click and the door knob turn. I turned on my night vision and climbed onto my ceiling, holding onto the beams. The person flicked on the lights and looked around. It was Kelly! She walked over to my drawers and started rummaging through them. How rude!!! I moved myself so I was hanging over her. I dropped onto her head. She screamed. I had my hand on her throat, pinned to the floor. She stared at me with fear. I was ripped off of her body and I realized the whole family was in here. "KAILEE?! What are you doing to Kelly?" Ratliff panicked, helping Kelly up. "She was going through my stuff!" I yelled. "And she dropped from the ceiling and pinned me to the floor!" Kelly defended herself. "You have no right to be in my room, more less, in my stuff for that matter!" This time I lunged for her. Riker had my by the waist, holding me back. I heard a slight growl from Tara in protest, probably because of the way Riker was holding me. I grabbed his arms and realized my claws had grown out. Riker let me go and I quickly spun around to see what damage I had caused to him. I detracted my claws and looked. There were 10 bloody holes from where my claws dug into him. He held his arm in pain as I gasped. Tara saw this and lunged at me, mad at me for hurting her mate. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!" I told her. She calmed down and let me go. I could tell she was still pretty tense though. Kelly had scanned Riker's arms before Stormie had rushed off to get some first aid equipment. Kelly gasped and moved closer to Ratliff, obviously scared of me. "I'm so sorry! I don't mean to, I swear!" I pleaed for forgiveness even though I knew I didn't deserve it. Riker gave me a brotherly hug and I sighed in relief. He let me go. "Its okay Kailee. I forgive you." he told me. I smiled, but frowned again knowing I had still hurt my brother and my best friend's mate. I whimpered a wolf whimper and sat in a corner. Sadi came in, rubbing her eyes. "What in dog go-" she stopped and looked around before realizing what happened. She walked over to me and hugged me. I hugged back. Sadi was always there for me. Tara bent down next to me and hugged me as well. We all cared for each other like a pack. I don't know why I hurt Riker. Was it because I had gotten to angry? These thoughts scared me, wondering if I could hurt anyone else. Kelly didn't say anything, but I could've sworn I saw guilt in her eyes.

Kelly's POV

I felt like this was my fault. If I hadn't been so curious about Kailee's secret then this wouldn't have happened. How did Kailee make those deep holes in Riker's arm though?
