R5 Adopted A Werewolf

Chapter 16

Stormie's POV

Okay... so I just watched my adopted daughter turn into a wolf. Yep.... normal day. Apparently, she teleported is and Kailee is in for it. "WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?!" Mark was angry. Kailee just let go of my hand and walked to the corner. She sat down and held her knees to her face while she cried silently. Rydel went over and rubbed Kailee's back for comfort while she cried. Mark came over to me. "Stormie... what happened?" He asked me, staring at Kailee. Kailee looked at me and nodded, signaling I could say. "Um... I'm not really sure myself. All I got from Kailee was hunters, werewolf with powers and using us against her." I said. "Woah, woah, WOAH! Back it up. Werewolf with powers?" He now was very confused. "I don't believe it myself, but I saw her turn into a wolf right before my eyes. That's the only reason we are even alive." I told everyone. Mark looked at her." Kailee stood up. "Surprise?" she said slowly, doing jazz hands. "Is this some kind of joke? Fake blood? Really?" He asked. "First of all, I wouldn't touch Stormie or me, and second this," Kailee said motioning around the room, "is real and I might have just dragged you all into a life or death conspiracy." Kailee smiled shyly. "Prove it." Mark said, cockily. This won't turn out well. "If you insist." Kailee shrugged and everyone backed up. Kailee's bones cracked and in a second a white wolf with neon blue ears and golden eyes like Kailee's was in her place. Even as a wolf, Kailee still had blood on her, making her white fur, not so white. I walked over and stroked her back as Mark stared, astonished. Kailee shifted back. "I'm sorry for this mess I've put you in, but even if I leave, I couldn't get you out of it. If I leave or if I stay, I will always care for you. The hunters will use that against me. If I stay, I can protect you. Stormie, I'm sorry for not doing something sooner. I didn't expect them to attack at a public place. They must be desperate. Not wanting to be the mom here, but everyone needs to get some sleep. I will train everyone tomorrow. Stormie and I need showers. Goodnight." And with that Kailee was walking up the stairs. "I really hope I'm dreaming." Mark said. Rocky walked over and pinched him. Mark yelped. "Sorry dad, we're all awake." Rocky shook his head.
