Raini's POV
I rode my bike back to my house since it wasn't too far. Something clanked behind me and I stopped my bike. "Who's there?" I yelled into the darkness. I grabbed my flashlight from my basket and pointed it behind me. Nothing. Then I heard a voice. "Behind you!" It cackled. I turned back to the front and a man ripped me off my bike holding a knife to my throat. I heard something and then saw someone in front of the man and I. It was the blonde girl, Meara. "Hello. Come to save your friend, werewolf." He laughed. She smirked at him. "I've come to save her, but you got one thing wrong. She took out two guns and pointed them at the man and I. What if she hit me!? "I'm not a werewolf, I'm a mermaid." She shot the guns and I closed my eyes. Nothing. I opened them to see a dead body behind me. I looked back at Meara. She said one more thing before disappearing. "Mermaid power!" She smiled at me and ran off. Oh how I wonder.
