I freaked out about how I'd prove that I'm the President's daughter and how on earth I'd get close to them. Now here I am, killing two birds with one stone. I found a way to get close to them and also a way to prove he's my father.
It's now Saturday, the big day. I have to go and fetch my mom from the airport, she flew in early this morning, as Amy is with Cassandra back in Illinois. My mom is only staying for the weekend.
After a quick shower then moisturizing my skin with Victoria's Secret products and throwing my hair in a ponytail, I slip on some under clothing, some Nike grey sweats and a long sleeved white Chanel top. I put on white socks and a pair of Givenchy Paris slides.
Mariyah is still asleep, even better because she'll only question my movements and I'm tired of feeling like I'm lying to her. Or am I?
Stuffing some money, cards, gum and everything else that I'll need in my chest bag. As I walk down the grand stairs, I strap the bag onto me. About to walk out, a familiar voice brings me to a halt in my tracks, my heart quickening it's pace as a smile escapes my face.
"Miss White." I turn around to the sight of David, noticing his big, brown, glistening eyes. His face wears a slight smile, standing with a tea cup in one hand and the other hand in his pocket. He simply wears a white T-shirt and black sweats. Imagine seeing the President in t's and sweats.
"Hello, Mr. Dé'Neilio. Good morning." I greet the man with a smile.
"Good morning, I told you to call me David. Where are you off to so early?"
"I have two things I need to grab. I won't take long."
"Oh okay. Be safe now."
"I will sir." I turn to walk away but I'm stopped in my tracks again.
"You look slightly familiar." He tells me and I freeze, temporarily entering into self destruct mode before turning around slowly.
"Excuse me?" I swallow discreetly.
"Never mind." He simply smiles and turns away.
Letting out a deep breath that was trapped in the back of my tonsils and quickly leaves, if the air gets any more tighter I'll prolly die. I look familiar? It must be my resemblance of my mother, being that he was oblivious of my existence before I came here.
I hop in my car and head straight to Scott's lab.
"Good morning, you're early." Scott sneers with a grin, always such a vibrant person.
"I don't have time for your shit, Scott. Just tell me what you got." I say dryly. Even though I know what the results are, I'm still so nervous just to hear what it is.
"Okay, okay. You're always on the run. It's a match. This person is indeed your father." He confirms and with that said, I close my eyes for a second and smile.
"Thank you. Thank you very much."
"So that means.. the Whites like.. adopted you?"
"Yeah." I say in a serious tone and he frowns at my expression.
