Previously On Triplets Apart:
Mariyah tries to deal with her fair share of pain. She breaks down as her sister Jada is there to give a shoulder to cry on. After listening to Jada's story, Mariyah then gets mad at Jada for not telling her. Later on Rebecca pays the White House a little visit, but why?

"I have to that i'm disappointed in myself. A lot. How will I forgive myself for what I let happen to you right under my nose?"

"David.." Cameron starts with a frown.

"My 18 year old daughter had to be the one to find out about this. Can you imagine how she felt and what she went through with all of this on her mind? She had to be the one to find you. I should've searched harder, I should've never let go so easily." I say, Cameron rubs my shoulder for comfort.

"Instead of beating yourself up about it, you should think of it as a good thing that your daughter is that strong, she's just like you. Now you have a very busy and significant life and Rebecca worked very hard to cover her tracks. The greatest thing is that this is all coming together and we've all found each other, thats what you should be thinking about."

"I'm sorry I didn't find you. I looked everywhere but your name literally did not exist anymore. I thought maybe you ran off because of everything that was happening at the time.. the election, campaigning, Rebecca being pregnant, after a while I thought you left me because it was too much for you." I let out a sigh, "I missed you so much, I thought about you everyday.. just wondering where you were and I was broken up about you leaving me a second time without even a goodbye. I'm so happy to see you are alive and well and I can't wait for us to reunite with the girls."

"It's good to see you again too. What's going to happen.. like after we get our girls back?" She asks me.

"We start over on a clean sleight."

"I'd like that." She nods and the sincerity is evident in her tone and visible in her eyes.

"The girls deserve a family. A real family. No secrets. No lies."

"David, I can't do it.. being a mistress. Things are different now." She tells me and, looking to the ground.

"Cameron, I'm going to divorce Rebecca." I use an index to turn her face to look me in the eyes so she knows I mean it. "I should've done that a long time ago. I only stuck with her because of my country and because of Mariyah. The people love that woman for some reason; probably because she's the master at manipulation and pretending. You are the love of my life now and forever and I want for us to put the pieces back together. I don't care how it'll look or what they'll say." I tell her and she stares into my eyes before she palms my cheek. Our close proximity is making my heart pounds against my chest, the last time I've been this close to this woman was many years ago and it still feels the same.

"You are the love of my life, always will be. But this is going to take time." She searches my eyes, hoping I understand.

"Well, in that case, we have our whole lives to do it and I'll wait for you as long as it takes. I promise I will protect you and our girls this time around. Nothing will ever hurt you again." I assure her and mean it with everything in me, holding both her cheeks. A tear runs down her face as she scowls.

"You better." She says softly as her voice breaks. I embrace her in a tight embrace.

A few minutes later, one of my guards inform me that Rebecca is here. Cameron accompanies me to my office.

Rebecca's P.O.V

"David, everything I did was for you. For us. You were about to become the most important man in America, President of the United States, I couldn't afford to let her mess that up for you." I plea, hoping he feels my desperation.
