CHAPTER 50 - Kissing

All members of the world's strangest family tree is all summoned at the White House. Surprisingly, the president gets Rebecca to agree to speaking at an upcoming press conference he'll arrange soon and she will have to tell the world the entire story. The president decides that the girls should be the ones to decide what they'll do because they are grown people. They all decided to move into the White House for the sake of creating a bond they were deprived of their whole lives and to get to know their real parents. They made a request that their adopted families should migrate to the US as well so they all will be close. Amber is Gabrielle's only child but Gabrielle announced that she is now pregnant, with twins.

"Hey cupcake, the more you take, the more you leave behind, what am I?" I ask Tariq as I pull his braids with a comb, his head buried in my lap. I sit on my bed as he lays on his back.

"I don't know?" He scrunches his face.

"You gotta at least try!"

"Uhh, come on, Curly, you know I hate riddles."

"Footsteps! The answer is footsteps. Oh God." I roll my eyes.

"Okay, uhh.. Here's one.. what do you do when there's a kidnapping?"

"Really, Aniston? You wake him up!" I squeak. "That's the best you could do?"

"Whatever. Let's get your hair washed, it stinks." I say crinkling my nose scornfully.

"Whatever." He rolls his eyes and I snort.

Yes, I mentioned my bed earlier because he's now welcomed at my home after being approved by Charlotte and Adonis.

Paige is downstairs while our parents are out attending some lame, work related events as usual and it's Saturday. My real sisters traveled back to their and I feel like I have the right to say I miss them.

Cameron remains at the White House with Amy, she hasn't really left any at all these pass few weeks because her and dad are still trying to put the broken pieces back together and keep the fire of their love ignited.

Of course this has to stay a secret just like old times, for now, because to the world, he is still 'happily married' to Rebecca. He keeps the divorce process as private as possible so no outsider could find out. Speaking of privacy, he spoke to the news about the questions and allegations that has being circulating about him, and the voice of the people has lowered a bit, anxiously awaiting his final thoughts.

"At this time, my main focus is to continue to serve my country. It has been brought to my attention, several rumors and theories that has been said about me and my family and for now, all I'll say is that not everything that is said over the medias are true. Yes, my people do deserve the solid truth. Soon, I will be making a public speech about the current situation, but for now, I'll only ask for the respect towards me and my family's privacy."

That's the statement my dad told the press, therefore with this being said, they know he has something big cooking up. The country is dying to hear his story, even I have anxiety of what will happen after this bizarre story is being unfolded for the entire world to know, especially because I play a big roll in this all. Shit, I'm the reason this is all happening.
