Taking things apart

Team JNPR and Ruby were walking through a forest at a good pace as Ruby was rushing to get to the next town. 

Ruby: We can make it there before sunset! 

Jade: What even is the next place?

He hasn't looked at the map in a while so he doesn't know. 

Ruby looked back at the map.

Ruby: This one is pretty big! It's uh... Hee... gan... bay... na...? 

Jade just laughed a little and scooted next to Ruby to see for himself.

Jade: Higanbana. I remember reading about this one.... I can't remember any of it though. 

Ren: Don't worry. It's a well-protected village with a popular inn. 

Penny: Does that mean!

Nora: We don't have to sleep in the rain again!

They both stare at each other and jump into a hug. They laugh while jumping around. 

Jade: Mina did say it was gonna rain today too. 

They all smile as they don't actually have to sleep in the rain again. 

Nora: What a coincidence! Move them feet, boys! And girl! And robot!

Penny: I'm an android. 

Nora then felt some rain hit her forehead. 

Nora: It doesn't matter! It's about to rain! GO! GO! GO!

She forced everyone to start running. Nora really doesn't like the rain... 

They quickly arrive at the village and Ren was the only one out of breath. 

Jade: Are you really tired? 

Jade looked over to Ren. 

Ren: Unlike everyone else here...! 

He huffed a few times. 

Ren: I don't have super endurance! 

He stood up straight and breathed one last final deep breath. 

Ren: Let's just find the Inn... 

Nora: Do you think they'll have something to eat?

Penny: Positively! 

Jade: That word... sounds really weird... Also, Penny, I wanna check up on the inside of you. 

Everyone stares at him.

Jade: What? 

His gaze switched between them all. 

Jade: Did I say something weird? 

Him out of all people should know that sounds really weird. 

Jade: What?! I gotta check the inside of her because I'm not sure If I made her completely water-proof! She's been caught inside the rain way too many times!  

Penny: Oh! You meant disassemble me! Don't make it sound so weird. 

They all laugh it off as Jade realized how weird he sounded. He let the more scientific part of him take over while talking completely forgetting about everything else. 

Jade: Okay, shut up. It was a mistake. But come on, I might as well get a headstart on this...

He grabbed her by the collar and started walking. 

Jade: I'll go over to the Inn and make reservations for all four of us!

Ruby: What about, Penny!
