'Ahem,' an old woman walked towards the boat.

The ferry man bowed his head in respect, and waited silently for Sun Ho to get off. Then without a second word he pushed the boat roughly and rowed away.

Sun Ho turned to the old woman, so she will offer him the tea the keeper of Memories was an old lady?

'Thank you for your service young man, I thank you on behalf for humans and the non humans,' the old lady bowed to him in reverence.

'No, no...don't,' Sun Ho reached to straighten the old lady. The old lady touched his hand and smiled at him.

'Follow me,' Sun Ho followed the old lady and suddenly he saw a giant palace appear in front of him, at the banks that was empty earlier.

'This place is kept hidden, usually until you pass through judgements of hell it remains hidden however you don't need to go through that as declared by hell and heaven you are entering directly,' heaved the old lady as she pushed the humongous wooden doors. Did he pass through here already? Had he drunk the whole cup of tea? Does that mean only Sun Ho carried their memories now? A tear drop escaped from Sun Ho's red rimmed, tears filled eyes.

'Sit down,' the old lady offered and magically several chairs and a table appeared on which there was a jade tea pot with tiny tea cups with saucers.

Sun Ho sat down, this was the moment he could decide what will happen to their future. But there were still many variables, what use was it only being able to recall his memories in next life? What guarantees does he have of Seo Hwi will be reborn in the same country or same time as him?

Argh! Doesn't matter. I will find him. Sun Ho reached for the tea cup. The old lady hit his hand with a fan out of no where.

'You dare to fool me, I have done this for an eternity. You dare to treat me like an ignorant old lady.' The old lady stood up pushing the table, the wind started blowing; pushing her white long strands of hair, her eyes glowed like fiery orbs but Sun Ho didn't move an inch. He had stood infront of raging kings, fought in many battles, watched his loved ones die therefore this sight didn't faze him.

'Answer me young man!' yelled the old woman who was now floating in the air.

'I deserve a reward, and I chose to carry my memories to next life. Why can't I have the choice to do what I wish with my own memories?' answered Sun Ho softly but stubornly.

'These rules exist for a reason, do you know what kind of effect your actions will cause to your own life and those related? Fate has already been woven since the beginning of creation. Who are you to decide whatever you wish?,' the old lady now moved closer to him, her eyes changed to a soft glowing ember as she watched the young man.

'Isn't fate meant to be tested, are we even conscious beings if we didn't chose to fight fate? All I want is to be by his side; to protect, care and help him,' Sun Ho as he shivered from the thought of not being able to live in a time where Seo Hwi wasn't there.

'Is that all you wish? really? Only to protect, care and help him? Are you sure?' the old lady circled around him touching his shoulders, her finger tips dancing on his shoulders.
