2008- Seoul

'Hwi-ya, HWIIIIII!' yelled Eun Ae

'Ajummmmmmmma,' called back Seo Hwi as he dashed down the stairs with a duffle bag thrown across his shoulders.

'Practices today too?' frowned Eun Ae at Seo Hwi.

'Uh Huh, baseball and then I have to go help master at the dojo.'

'Ajumma misses you, you are never home and Sun Ho is busy studying. Speaking of studying, are you studying? You are always running. I expected Sun Ho to be the athletic one instead here you are.'

'Aww...how about I come back early and we will cook dinner together tonight. Promise!' Seo Hwi smiled lovingly as he hugged her.

'When you grew so tall, I didn't even notice. All this is because you are never home for me to see. Why do you keep going out? You know this is your house too!' Eun Ae asked seriously.

'Leave the boy alone, at this age they have too much energy and our Hwi just wants to spend it all out before reaching home.' Cha Min Joon patted the boy's head.

'As your aunt said, focus on your studies. You just started freshmen year of high school so I won't say anything but you will have to stop on your sophomore year and start studying with Sun Ho. I expect you two to enter the same university like your father and I did...Ouch!' yelled Cha Min Joon

'Seo Hwi, don't listen to this old man. If you want to play, play! Ajumma is here to take care of you.'

'And after you die?'

'Sun Ho will!'

Both Seo Hwi and Cha Min Joon stared at Eun Ae like she sprouted horns.

'What?'

'Darling, Sun Ho will have his own life so Seo Hwi can't...'

'Ajumma, don't worry. I will play and study.' Seo Hwi kissed Eun Ae's forehead and nodded before walking out of the mansion.

Seo Hwi's shoulders hunched as he remembered Eun Ae's words, 'Sun Ho will!'

But things have changed since they were little children Sun Ho was always busy with Seo Yeon Nonna and Seo Hwi wasn't allowed to hang with them. Seo Hwi had cried for a while chasing after Sun Ho wanting to join them but doors were closed on his face, Sun Ho would angrily say go away breaking little Seo Hwi's heart. Once hurt too many times, Seo Hwi had also stopped knocking and eventually Seo Hwi had turned to sports to keep himself busy as Sun Ho continued to focus on his books when he wasn't playing with Seo Yeon Nonna.

'What are you dreaming about? You are already this late and now you walk like a sloth. I have quiz first class. Can you hurry up, Dummy!'

'Sorry,' apologized Seo Hwi as he sat next to the driver instead in the back. It had started a while back when Sun Ho had told Seo Yeon Nonna would be going school with them whenever her brother couldn't drop or pick her.

'Seo Yeon Nonna won't be joining us, sit in the back. I told you yesterday so what are you doing in the front,' Seo Hwi could feel Sun Ho getting angry but lately whatever Sun Ho did had made Sun Ho angry so he was trying to avoid him as much as possible.

'I am used to sitting here, let's go ajusshi. Sun Ho has a quiz, can we take the short cut instead the main road.'

The driver didn't know what to do in the atmosphere, he had watched the boys grow together but now their cute banter had turned into something that made even him uncomfortable.

'Why don't you sit in the back maybe Sun Ho feels lonely,' whispered the driver. The driver felt closer to Seo Hwi since Seo Hwi was a child hadn't treated him as a driver but as an Uncle.

'It's fine, he will only keep on listening to music and check his revision notes. I'll feel lonelier in the back.' whispered Seo hwi back.

The driver knew he couldn't convince Seo Hwi otherwise so he started driving.

'Ajusshi, I won't be coming back with Sun Ho today. I will take the bus,' said Seo Hwi as he looked out the window.

'I have a meeting till late, so Ajusshi come to pick us both up when Seo Hwi finishes.' Sun Ho announced as if it was final.

Seo Hwi turned and looked at Sun Ho who was back to staring at his phone furiously scrolling.

'What?' asked Sun Ho without looking at Seo Hwi.

'Nothing, I will wait for you until you are done.' Seo Hwi couldn't make head or tails of the situation. Sun Ho used to avoid him was he trying to reach him in his own way? Seo Hwi felt his heart skip a beat, he missed Sun Ho.

'Hmmm,' Sun Ho agreed.
