Extra: Their Relationship (Not a Chapter)

This chapter is to help you better understand their relationship both romantically and platonically because honestly it's kind of confusing to date six people at one time who also happen to be your best friends. :)

Each member has one person that they go to when they are scared, or need someone to lean on. They go to this person when they need to be strong for others, but can't be strong for themselves. Although everyone in the relationship offers comfort to each other, in situations like when Jungkook ran away, Jin needed to be strong for his lovers, so he couldn't go to them for comfort. He turned to Namjoon for comfort because that's his go to person. Make sense?

Jungkook goes to Jimin. Because they are both from Busan, Jungkook has always felt like he can tell Jimin anything. Whenever he's anxious, Jimin will talk to him about their hometown. One of Jungkook's favorite sounds is Jimin saying his name with in Busan Dialect. Even though he's short, Jimin has a very commanding presence that Jungkook finds both calming and incredibly sexy. When he's with Jimin, Jungkook allows himself to be the scared, insecure, 15 year old boy he was when they first met. (Of course, all the hyungs dote on him constantly, so he could really go to anyone)

Jimin goes to Namjoon. Namjoon has a clever way with words that always calms Jimin's hectic mind. Namjoon is also strong, and he's usually warm. Jimin enjoys hugs from Namjoon when he's upset, because he feels safe and small. When he's with Namjoon, Jimin lets his insecurities slip away. Jimin doesn't have to pretend to be happy with himself around Namjoon. Namjoon's kind words remind Jimin that he has worth, that he deserves to be loved.

Taehyung goes to Seokjin. When he's upset, Taehyung doesn't like to talk. He uses actions instead of words. Jin knows how to read his actions and figure out what's bothering him and how to make him feel better. Taehyung also responds well to physical comfort, like Eskimo kisses or hugs or holding hands or pressing his forehead against someone else's. Jin is really good at giving skinship, and his warm smiles and gentle touches are extremely effective in making Taehyung feel safe and loved, which ultimately calms him down. (For those of you who don't know what an Eskimo kiss is, it's where two people touch their noses together lightly. It's a form of greeting in some cultures, but it can also be a form of endearment.)

Namjoon goes to Yoongi. Namjoon greatly respects Yoongi, he believes that he can learn a lot from him. As the leader of Bangtan, Namjoon often feels like he needs to be strong even when everyone else is not. Yoongi is a blunt reminder that it's okay for him to be weak sometimes. Yoongi takes it upon himself to be the strong hyung for Namjoon. Whenever Namjoon is stressed or scared, he'll go to Yoongi, and they'll just talk. Namjoon is a little awkward with receiving physical affection, just like Yoongi, so it's comforting for him to know that he won't be expected to be touchy or overly affectionate. (If he's comforting one of his lovers, he's good at being physically affectionate, but when it comes to his own problems he becomes awkward.) Yoongi will sometimes ruffle his hair or give him a quick kiss if he feels like Namjoon needs physical comfort. Namjoon lets his defences down around Yoongi, and they talk about a lot more than just the rap lyrics for their upcoming songs.

Hoseok goes to Taehyung. (Although he sometimes goes to Yoongi) Taehyung loves to give physical affection as much as he likes to receive it, and he often wraps Hoseok in bear hugs or tight back hugs, placing feathery kisses along every expanse of open skin. Taehyung is very generous with his affections, showering Hoseok with compliments and 'I love yous' whenever he seems down. Hoseok is good at pretending to be happy even when he's not, but Taehyung can read his emotions like an open book. Taehyung knows exactly when Hoseok needs to recharge, and he knows how to help him de-stress. Sometimes it's as simple as a hug, sometimes they'll talk it out, or sometimes they'll dance without speaking a single word to each other. It's Taehyung's comforting presence that does the trick. It's Taehyung's deep voice that calms him down when he's panicking, that helps him come back to reality. Hoseok doesn't have to be "everybody's sunshine" when he's with Taehyung. He can be angry or sad or irritated. Taehyung is a really good listener, which is helpful when Hoseok needs to rant. Taehyung is Hoseok's sunshine so Hoseok can be the world's sunshine.

Yoongi goes to Seokjin. Seokjin is his only hyung, and he's the only one that Yoongi feels comfortable completely opening up to. Yoongi displays a cold image, but he likes skinship as much as anyone. Jin knows this, and he goes out of his way to baby Yoongi. When Yoongi is upset, he'll lock himself in his studio. Seokjin makes sure he's eating, and he'll check in on him every couple of hours. When Yoongi falls asleep in his studio, Jin carries him to bed. During concerts, he'll subtly watch Yoongi, making sure he's properly hydrated and not having any difficulty breathing. When Yoongi is scared or stressed, he shuts down. Jin knows how to calm him down, without being too touchy or overbearing. Sometimes, that's just giving Yoongi alone time, or talking to him. Other times, it's telling Yoongi stupid jokes while he's pretending to ignore him until he smiles. Every so often, all it takes is a cup of coffee and a shoulder to take a nap on. Jin takes his role as Yoongi's hyung very seriously, and Yoongi knows that he can tell the older anything.

Seokjin goes to Namjoon. Namjoon is the only other member that understands the burden of having to lead everyone. Even though Jin is the oldest hyung, he's the maknae of his family and the '92 liners. He's never had any experience being the oldest, but he tries his hardest to be a good hyung for everyone. Namjoon understands the feeling of needing to be strong at all times, which is why he's the best at comforting Jin. Namjoon's dimple smiles and soothing voice help him clear his mind. When Jin gets stressed, he usually just need to take a moment and breathe. Namjoon knows the signs that Jin is getting frustrated or overwhelmed, and once he sees them, he's quick to help his hyung get some alone time. Namjoon will usually read aloud to Seokjin, while the older rests his head on his shoulder. The sound of Namjoon's voice and the rumble of his chest is calming to Jin. Namjoon is one of the only people Jin will tell that he's scared.

They all love and care for each other equally, and because I just realized no one goes to Hoseok, they all go to Hobi when they need support. He's their ray of sunshine! :)
