"No peeking!" Jeongguk's hands came to wrap around Jin's face as soon as they entered their dorm, covering his eyes so he couldn't see where they were headed.
"Okay," Jin played along, allowing the excited maknae to guide him through the doorway.
"Allow me," Hoseok said, overly polite, as he knelt down and helped Jin out of his sneakers. "Alright, Kookie, take him away!"
"TaeTae," Jungkook reached out for his youngest hyung, taking his hand and motioning for Teahyung to help him lead Jin. "Together! Together!"
"Are you ready to show Jin hyung what we worked so hard on?" Taehyung asked as they neared his bedroom, feeling himself getting more and more excited as Jungkook got adorably hyped up. None of his other boyfriends had seen what they'd done with the room yet, Hoseok and Yoongi having passed out in the younger's bed mere minutes after they finished cooking, with Jimin and Namjoon cuddling up together shortly after, having volunteered to clean up for Yoongi and Hoseok. Only Jungkook and Taehyung had stayed awake, holed up in the elder's room for hours, trimming flowers and arranging the cosmetics and accessories to make sure they got everything just right.
Both boys had an uncanny eye for detail and unique sense of style, so their lovers were more than a little excited to see what they'd come up with together.
"Ta-da~!" Taehyung flung open the door and Jungkook pulled his hands away from Jin's eyes with a dramatic flourish.
"Oh my-" Jin's jaw dropped as he stepped into the room and spun around slowly, taking it all in.
Jimin, Hoseok, Namjoon, and Yoongi filed in after him, wearing similar expressions of shock and amazement.
The lights were off and the thick blackout curtain had been drawn shut tight, but the room was illuminated with a couple dozen strands of fairy lights, twinkling brilliantly from where they were strung artfully from the ceiling and draped across various furniture. Small, purple candles, shaved into little heart shapes, were placed around the room, and Taehyung hurried to light them. ( "No, Kookie, fire is dangerous, let hyungie do it." ) In the center of the room, where Taehyung's nightstand had been moved to, sat the fragrant candle he and Jungkook had bought the previous night. As Taehyung touched the lit match to the candle wick, a delicious aroma filled the air, quickly spreading throughout the room, but not overwhelming the senses. Beside the candle, Taehyung's nightstand cluttered with lotions and facemasks and oils and other beauty products that Jin didn't even know the name of, so much so there was hardly an inch of tabletop space visible.
And the flowers. There were flowers everywhere . Rose petals scattered around the three blanket piles spread out on the floor like makeshift beds. Vases of their birth flowers, tastefully arranged to appeal to even the untrained eye, the brilliant petal colors blending together to create something uniquely beautiful. And, of course, the monstrous bouquet of flowers Jungkook pulled out from its hiding spot under Taehyung's bed, and presented to Jin with a wide smile.
"For you, Jinnie eomma!"
Jin blushed, Jin actually blushed , at the sweetly romantic gesture. They didn't often get to do stereotypical "romantic" things, like holding hands in public and going out on cheesy dates because of who they were and the repercussions they could have if they were caught, but giving flowers had always been one of their favorite ways to have that classic "romance" they all thought was cute. (Even though only Jimin, Jungkook, and Hoseok would admit it without teasing, all seven of them were suckers for cheesy romance every once in a while.)
