Jin grunted in acknowledgement, but didn't say anything.
"Hyung, where does it hurt? Is it your ankle?" Hoseok was trying not to panic, but the sight of his hyung curled up on the floor in excruciating pain only minutes after teasingly tickling him half to death was terrifying.
Jin nodded, his black hair bobbing up and down. Hoseok couldn't see his face from the way he was sitting, but he had a suspicion that his lover was crying.
Hoseok ran over to his bag and pulled out his phone, before running back to Jin and opening the group chat. The maknaes were probably asleep, but hopefully Yoongi or Namjoon would have their phone on them.
"It'll be okay." He promised his hyung, trying to muster up a smile even though the older man couldn't see it. You need to be strong for Jin hyung. Hoseok chided himself, but that proved to be easier said than done when the sight of his lover curled on the floor had his stomach in knots. Shaking his head clear of negative thoughts, Hoseok typed out a message with trembling fingers.

Hobi hyung: Someone help!
Hobi hyung: Do any of you have your phones?!
Hobi hyung: Come to the dance studio ASAP!!
Hobi hyung: This is serious!!
Yoongi hyung: what's wrong?! are you okay baby?!?
Hobi hyung: Jin hyung hurt himself and he's not responding and I don't know what to do!!
Yoongi hyung: WHAT?!
Joon hyung: We're on our way
Yoongi hyung: sit tight, we'll be there in a sec Hobi
Joon hyung: Just try to stay calm, love

The door burst open and a concerned Namjoon ran in, with a worried Yoongi at his heels. Jin flinched at the sudden loudness, curling in on his ankle tighter. At the sight of their boyfriend lying on the floor, broad shoulders shaking desperately in an attempt to conceal his cries, Namjoon and Yoongi ran over and kneeled next to Hoseok.
"Jin hyung?" Namjoon asked softly.
Jin shook his head.
"Seokjin." Yoongi dropped the honorifics, knowing he was being disrespectful, but not caring at the moment.
Jin didn't respond, which was concerning. He must be in a lot of pain if he couldn't muster up the energy to come up with some kind of witty comeback.
"Can you tell us how bad it hurts?" Namjoon tried.
Jin shook his head.
"Would you say it hurts more than a five out of ten?" Yoongi said gently, changing his attitude to a softer approach. "If one is awesome, and ten is you don't think you could even move it?"
Jin nodded.
"More than a seven?" Namjoon asked, thankful Jin was finally communicating with them.
Jin nodded again.
"A ten or more?" Hoseok asked hesitantly.
Much to their relief, Jin shook his head.
