A "Little" Surprise

Shopping Spree

After deciding to have their talk on the giant bed they'd made the night before, the boys hurried down the hall to Jin's room. It took a few minutes to get comfortable, but they finally settled sitting criss-cross-applesauce in a lopsided circle. Namjoon sat down first, Jin sat next to him, resting his injured ankle out in front of him, then Taehyung, Hoseok, and Yoongi added onto the curve. Jimin was the last hyung to sit down, lowering himself next to Yoongi hesitantly and finishing the circle.

The rapper immediately reached out for Jungkook who was standing awkwardly next to the bed, pulling the maknae onto his lap and using the younger's muscular body as a barrier between himself and Jimin.

He's just trying to comfort Jungkook. Jimin's brain reasoned. It has nothing to do with you. No matter how he tried to convince himself, a cold knot of fear churned in his stomach. Yoongi hyung must really hate you. His mind mused treacherously. He can't even bear to sit next to you, let alone look at your ugly face.

Noticing Taehyung and Hoseok looking at him worriedly like they could read his mind, Jimin quickly shoved the offending thoughts far away for later and plastered a smile on his face. His boyfriends needed to focus on Jungkook, not him.

"Calm down, Kook." Yoongi placed his hands on top of Jungkook's to keep the younger from fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. "We're not mad at you. We just need to talk about a few things that will help us be better caregivers for you."

Jin grabbed his laptop off his nightstand. "We were also hoping we could buy a few things for you. Kookie must want a friend for his bunny, right?"

Jungkook's eyes widened, his little self growing excited at the prospect of having another stuffie to play with. He could feel himself slipping a little, and he flicked his forehead a couple of times to stay big. He wanted to be in his normal headspace for this conversation.

"First, we wanted to talk about how we need some kind of rules, or guidelines for your littlespace." Namjoon said gently. "We understand that you're used to slipping by yourself, and we don't want to boss you around or restrict you if you've found a system that works for you, but we need something that we can refer to in order to keep you from hurting yourself or your image."

Jungkook nodded. "I get it."

"We want you to be in charge here." Jin added. "You tell us your boundaries, what you need, what you like, what you don't like, what you can do, and what you can't do."

Jungkook nodded slowly. "I know that I can be really whiny or stubborn when I'm little," he began.

"You're pretty whiny and stubborn when you're big too, so that's not really a surprise." Yoongi teased quietly, so only Jungkook could hear.

The singer rounded on him. "I am not!"

Yoongi just chucked, his gums on full display.

"Yoongi hyung, stop bullying Jungkook." Hoseok chided.

"You don't even know what I said!" Yoongi protested.

"He said that I'm whiny and stubborn in general, not just as a little!" Jungkook whined.

"Yoongi, don't be mean." Jin pretended to scold his dongsaeng, but he was chuckling as well. "Jungkook, stop whining about Yoongi calling you a whiner." He added, making everyone laugh.

"Remind me why I'm dating you all?" Jungkook crossed his arms and pouted.

"Because you love us, you gorgeous whiner." Taehyung leaned over and gave him a quick kiss coupled with a flick on the forehead. "Now keep talking. Hopefully without any further interruptions from the peanut gallery." He stared pointedly at Yoongi who stuck his tongue out childishly, but apologized to Jungkook.
