Not Alone

Jin sat with Yoongi for another hour as the rapper slowly came back to himself, alternating between rubbing the younger's back soothingly and murmuring sweet nothings, and holding him tightly and listening attentively as he spoke. Finally, as the clock on Jin's nightstand flashed two a.m., Yoongi uncurled from where he sat and pushed against his hyung slightly. "I- I need to talk to Jimin." He said, his voice wavering only a little. "But, I don't think I can do it alone."

Jin smiled softly. "We'll stay with you, baby. We're all really worried about you, and I promise we will do whatever you need us to do so you can feel comfortable and safe."

Yoongi smiled shyly. "Thank you, Jin hyung."

"And if it becomes too much, if the thoughts start to come back, you tell me immediately and we'll come right back in here, okay?" Jin looked Yoongi straight in the eyes so the younger could see how serious he was. "This is our safe space, Yoongi. Nothing you feel or say in here will ever be stupid. Do you understand?"

Yoongi blushed a little, but nodded. "I get it." He swallowed hard, steeling his nerves. "Can we go out now?"

Jin grinned and took his lover's hand, helping him to his feet. "No matter what happens, no matter how this conversation goes, I want you to know that I'm proud of you, love." He said warmly, placing a kiss on their intertwined hands. "I'm so proud of you, Yoongi."

With that being said, he opened the door and guided Yoongi back into the world.

At the sound of a door opening in the hallway, five heads snapped to attention and five worried faces softened in affection.

My Neighbor Totoro had long since ended, and they were now halfway through Spirited Away, but none of them were really paying attention to the movie anyway.

Jungkook had come up from his headspace about twenty minutes ago, being welcomed back with gentle kisses and warm hugs. Jimin had softly asked him if he was ready to be big yet and Jungkook nodded, determined to be in his normal headspace for whenever Jin and Yoongi came out.

And now here they were. Jin led the way, with Yoongi trailing behind. Jin's bathrobe was still smeared with Yoongi's dried blood, but otherwise he looked fine. Yoongi was a bit of a mess, his hands were carefully wrapped in bandages, his mint hair was tousled and sticking up at odd angles, his nose was red, and his eyes were puffy, but he was smiling, a small, hesitant smile, but a smile nonetheless.

Jin and Yoongi entered the room and sat down on the remaining two couch chairs. Yoongi sat down first, settling cross legged in one of the chairs, and Jin took the hint that he wanted some space, sitting in the other chair by himself.

Yoongi fiddled with his hands and looked down at his lap, suddenly unsure of how to address his lovers. His eyes flickered up rapidly to peer at his boyfriends through his minty bangs before dropping back to his lap, his gaze subconsciously seeking out Jimin every time.

"Go to him." Namjoon said quietly.

Yoongi's head shot up to look at the blonde, but Namjoon's attention was fixed on Jimin, who was clenching Taehyung's hand so hard his knuckles were turning white.

"I-I don't- he's still- what if-" Jimin shook his head, biting his lip in an amazing show of restraint. Every bone in his body was shouting at him to run to his boyfriend and hug him, to hold him close and never let go, but he didn't want to scare Yoongi. You're the reason Yoongi hyung tried to hurt himself anyways. The singer's brain treacherously reminded him. So just be thankful you're even allowed to be in the same room as him. Jimin felt tears building up in his eyes as his brain began to bully him once more.
