Soobin's eyes fluttered open as the sunlight peeking from his window caught his attention. He sat up and stretched, feeling unusually refreshed. Soobin hadn't slept this good in a while. He looked over to the other side of the bed and noticed Yeonjun was no longer there. There was a slight fear that Yeonjun was upset with him and left.
Did he already mess up his first relationship?
Soobin tried to shake away his negative thoughts and got out of bed. He headed down the hall and a pleasant smell made his mouth water. The smell led him to the kitchen to see a shirtless Yeonjun at his stove.
"What are you doing?" Soobin gasped, covering his mouth.
"Oh, you're awake," Yeonjun looked back at his boyfriend for a split second before returning his attention to their meal, "I'm cooking. Isn't it obvious?"
"But why are you-"
"I used the last of your eggs," Yeonjun cut him off, placing their food on two separate plates, "I hope you don't mind." Soobin mumbled something under his breath, but Yeonjun couldn't make out what he said. Yeonjun grabbed the two plates and turned around to see a red faced Soobin, "Is something wrong?"
"No," Soobin crossed his arms and looked away from the older, "Nothing is wrong,"
Yeonjun placed the plates on the table and wrapped his arms around the younger, "What are you acting all shy for?"
"D-don't play dumb," Soobin flinched as the Yeonjun's cool skin hit him, "Why aren't you wearing a shirt?"
"If you can't handle the heat, then stay out of the kitchen," Yeonjun snickered as he pulled away from Soobin, "Besides I saw you shirtless yesterday, remember? I'm only returning a favor."
"That was an accident," Soobin pouted as his face grew an even deeper shade of red.
"Whatever you say Princess."
"Don't call me that!"
"How could I be so careless," Yeonjun lightly hit his own forehead, "You're my Sugar, right?"
Soobin didn't say anything and just glared at Yeonjun. He wanted to intimidate the silver haired boy, but it only took a few second for a smile to break through, causing Yeonjun to laugh.
"You're so adorable," Yeonjun pinched one of Soobin's cheeks, "Let's hurry and eat before it gets cold." Soobin just nodded and headed to the table.
Yeonjun was about to sit down but decided against it, "I'll be right back." Soobin looked at the boy confused but didn't say anything as he watched Yeonjun walk away. He returned shortly after, wearing a simple white tee shirt, and sat down next to the younger, "Let's dig in!"
"What is it?" Soobin asked as he saw Yeonjun take a big bite from his plate.
Yeonjun looked slightly offended and talked with his mouth half full, "Don't tell me you never had gyeran bokkeumbap before!"
"Never."
"Wow," Yeonjun swallowed the rest of his bite, "You should try it, because it's really good. It's even better since I'm the one who made it."
Soobin took a bite and his eyes lit up, "It's amazing!"
A small smile played on Yeonjun's lips, "Thank you."
It grew silent between the two. The silence was suffocating or awkward, and it actually felt nice, but that wasn't good enough for Yeonjun. He can't win over Soobin's heart if they just stay quiet the whole time.
"I have a question." "We need to talk."
The two boys talked at each other and couldn't help but giggle.
