Fusion Confusion

Chapter 5

3rd pov

The ninja gave Lorro and Kanshi breakfast before having breakfast themselves. They came back into Kanshi trying to break Lorro's handcuffs.

" And done!" Kanshi groaned with an exhausted smile

"What are you two doing?"

" Well Cole, if you must know, I trying to get me and my babycakes here as far away as we can get from you ninja"

" Well then, you're in luck"

" what are you talking about ?" Lorro said while getting hold of Kanshi's hand. He didn't like the way this conversation was heading and was worried about Kanshi.

" We're separating the two of you. And since we decided my brother was more dangerous than you, you little asswipe. were moving him to the jail below deck"

"You can't separate us!"

"Like hell, I'll let any of you touch him!" Lorro summoned his sword and stands his ground

Kanshi was about to summon his staff when the room started getting blurry  

"Lorro...."

"If you want him, you're going to have to get though me!"

"Lorro....babe"

Lorro, feeling his boyfriend leaning on him a little too much, looks into the boy's unfocused eyes

"Kanshi! What's...... wrong!"

What was wrong? Why was he so tired? He thought of everything that happened and realized. They had cereal and tea for breakfast

'The tea it was Wu's!'

" Tea........Wu.........I think-" 

Kanshi didn't finish his sentence as his eyes roll back and he collapses onto Lorro, who soon passed out too

Jay's Pov (and small time skip)

Nya stole some of Sensei's sleeping tea and switch their tea when they weren't looking. After we separated those two, we started thinking of ways to unfuse them

"When we unfuse, we both want to. I just can't calculate a way to do without endanaging Kai and Lloyd."

"We can't hurt them, even if it is to help them"

"I agree with Cole. What if we make a wand that if it touches fusions, it separates them"

" Come on Jay! Be serious"

"I am!"

"Enough!" Sensei Wu said as he walked in " There is a way to separate fusions, thought I'm afraid that way is not easy path to take"

 "What is it this time? a lost prophecy? a tea we having find?"

"Jay, don't be ridiculous. Fusion run on emotions, positive emotions fuel them while negative weakens them"

"So we just make them angry"

" That won't work. Fusion fueled by angry tend to be unstable. If Kai and Lloyd were mad, their fusions wouldn't have proper conversations with us. Their main goal would be to fight"

"Fear maybe"

"Fear? We want to save them, but not terrify them"

"No, sadly Zane is right Nya. Fear can cause fusions to fall apart quickly. Fear is the only way to save your brother and my nephew"

"So we just make them scared? Well, that's easy! What are Kai and Lloyd afraid of ?" Jay asked cheerfully.

"It's not what Kai and Lloyd are afraid of. Morro and Bansha are also apart of their fusions and we have to take that into consideration.It's what Lorro and Kanshi are afraid of ?"
