It was a week into my job at the station that problems started. I noticed 3 of the older men at the station always seemed to work late, watching everyone like they were nervous or guilty of something.
It sort of made me feel uneasy when I was around them and I was a little scared of the larger muscular one. He was ex military. He scared me to be honest. He was so much bigger and stronger than me and the way he watched us younger officers made me uneasy.
The other two were skinner but still muscular. They were twins, clearly, the only difference was that one was a lot more cowardly than the other. Not in a bad way, but more of the fact that he wasn't as willing to do 'whatever it takes' as the other two were. There attitude worried me to be honest. Though it wasn't like I was the only one, but in the end there was nothing we could do about it. They had been there longer and were more experienced. Finally they were more known and trusted.
