❄️Queen Rita's Point of View❄️

I was quietly reading a history novel in the castle library while waiting for my husband and son to arrive home from the Northuldran Tribe in the Enchanted Forest.

"Martha" I call for the head maid

"Yes, Your Majesty" She replied

"Have you heard any news on when my husband and son will be arriving home. It is getting awfully late"

"No Ma'am. I'll go ask for you" Martha says before exiting the library to find the second in command soldier as Lieutenant Mattias was also in the Enchanted Forest.

Putting the novel on the small table next to my chair, I stood up and walked over towards the large window that overlooked Arendelle.

Looking below towards the gates of the castle I notice some of our guards rushing towards the entrance. Suddenly the doors open in the library making me turn around and find Martha standing their with a worried expression.

"Your Majesty, it's the young Prince. He was found unconscious outside the Enchanted Forest, they are bringing him to his room"

Quickly I rush out of the library towards my sons room, "Has the doctor been called?" I asked worried

"Yes Your Majesty, he is with your son now" Martha replies quickly

Reaching Agnarr's room I open the door and find my son unconscious and laying on his bed. Rushing to his side I grab his hand while checking his face before I turn to talk to the doctor.

❄️Agnarr's Point of View❄️

All I can see it darkness. Where am I? I can hear voices.

"Is he going to be alright?" Mother. I must be back in Arendelle, in the castle. But how did I get here?

"His Highness has suffered a head injury, their isn't any major injuries but he will have a headache for a few days but with this pain medication he will recover quickly" That must be the Royal doctor.

"Thank you doctor" Mother says before I hear the doctor leave the room, I start to wake up which alerted my mother as she comes up next to me with concern on her face.

"Agnarr, Sweetheart"

"Mother" I groan as I sit up on the bed and look up at her as she sits next to me while rubbing my back

"What happened? Where is your father?" She asks

That's when I remembered what happened back in the Enchanted Forest.

"Everything was fine to begin with, we were having fun. But something happened.. the Northuldrans attacked us. Mattias was protecting me as the battle broke out. I than heard father yell out and I started rushing towards him but then... I saw... Father was thrown off a cliff" I say looking down with tears gathering in the corners of my eyes.

"What!? Your.. Father is.." Mother says as she starts to break down crying.

For the rest of the night Mother stayed with me as we mourned the loss of Father. The King of Arendelle.

The Next Day....

❄️Third Person Point of View❄️

Arendellians gathered in the castle courtyard wondering what news the royal family have to announce. 

Standing on the steps of the castle doors stood the young Prince and the Queen of Arendelle both wearing black clothing with the King nowhere in sight confusing the Arendellians.

Stepping up to the platform, the kingdom's adviser, Kai, began his speech to the people of Arendelle.

"People of Arendelle, it is with great sadness to announce that his Majesty King Runeard has passed away in battle with the Northuldran Tribe. Due to his majesties sudden passing, his only heir Prince Agnarr of Arendelle will be acting King until his official coronation when he comes of age. The Royal family also pay their condolences to the families of the Arendellian soldiers who are still missing"

Arendellians are shocked and devastated to hear of the news of their beloved Kings sudden death and all the people of Arendelle bow their heads in respect to the fallen King.
