A Tale From The Past

~Chapter VI~

❄️Iduna's Point Of View❄️

Helga and I were following closely behind Queen Rita as she walked down endless hallways filled with paintings and other priceless artefacts.

"Ah ha, here we are" Rita stops in front of a large white wooden double door with beautiful symbols painting on them.

"Go ahead, open it" She gestures passing me a silver key with a blue gem

Placing the key through the keyhole I place my hand on the golden handle as I slowly push open the doors revealing a beautiful garden filled with flowers.

"It's absolutely beautiful" I say in awe taking in the scenery that surrounds me

'It kind of reminds me of spring time in the enchanted forest'

"It has many types of flowers, herbs, a water fountain and a little area that has a swing tied to a tree" Explains Rita as she smiles kindly at me (A/N~The garden is like the one in Barbie The Island Princess but is connected to the castle and not as big.)

"It's truely breathtaking" I say speechless as I begin looking around at the flowers

"Are you alright to stay here Iduna while I help Rita, we'll come back once we are finished" Helga asks

"Yes! I mean yes, thank you" I say chuckling nervously at my over excitement

"We will return within an hour" Rita says as both of the adults walk out shutting the door behind them

Smiling brightly to myself I begin to smell every flower I find.

"This is just like home" I whisper quietly as a few tears gather up in my eyes as flashbacks of the enchanted forest flash in my mind.

❄️Agnarr's Point Of View❄️

This morning has been off to a great start, not a single bad comment came out of any of the council members mouths during our meeting.

'About time they take me seriously'

Chuckling to myself, I begin walking down the long hallways to find Mother.

"Martha, have you seen Mother?" I ask the head maid

"She's in her chambers your Majesty" She says before walking down a staircase

Arriving at Mother's bed chambers, I knock softly awaiting her voice

"Who is it?" She asks out

"It's just me Mother"

"You can come in son"

Once hearing that reply I open the doors to see Mother being measured by a woman, Helga if I remember correctly, for which I'm guessing is for new dresses

"You wishing for more dresses Mother" I ask walking over to her and sitting on a chair nearby

"My other ones are getting rather old, Helga here will help make me some new ones with the same style" She smiles

"Your Majesty" Helga greets me before returning back to work

"That meeting of yours went quicker than expected" She stated while still looking at me

"Yeah, they were actually listening to me for once. Thus, finishing early. I plan to go out into the town square and meet with some of the people" I say as I straighten up my coat

"Thats good news that they are finally listening to you dear. Before you go to the town square, how about you take Helga's daughter. She is new to the Kingdom and I'm sure she'd love a tour. You'll find her in the garden"
