❄Third Person Point Of View❄
Fresh soft snow lays on the ground but is created to look like a forest with mountains, trees and small figures.
"Anna, Elsa"
"Bedtime soon" Two voices ring out, one male whilst the other female, just outside the bedroom where two young girls, one aged 5 while the eldest is aged 8 are playing.
The young strawberry-blonde haired girl grabs two of the snow figures, "Uh oh, the princess is trapped in a snow goblins evil spell"
"Quick Elsa, make a prince. A fancy one" The eldest sister with platinum blonde hair quickly swirls her magical hands together creating another snow figure in the shape of a prince and handing it to her younger sister.
"Oh no, the prince is trapped too!"
Unknown to the young children, a man also with strawberry-blonde hair walks into the bedroom smiling as he watches his daughters playing before him.
"Who cares about danger when theirs love" Imitates the youngest as she makes the two snow figures kiss
"Ugh, Anna blech" Elsa says in a disgusted tone as both the girls parents walk into the room behind them
"Kissing won't save the forest" She adds as both girls giggle as their father walks around the snow to face his daughters
"The lost fairies cry out, what sound does a giraffe make?" Elsa asks as she holds up the snow figures
"I don't know" Replies Anna shrugging her shoulders as she watches her older sister closely
"Nevermind, they wake the fairy queen who breaks the spell and saves everyone!" Elsa says in triumphant
"And they all get married!" Anna expresses hugging all the snow figures as both girls laugh with their parents smiling down at them
"What are you playing?" Asks the girls father
"Enchanted Forest" Replies Anna as she continues to play with the figures
"Hmm.. that's like no Enchanted Forest I've ever seen" He says walking towards the bed
"Huh, you've seen an Enchanted Forest!" Elsa speaks up looking towards her father
"Wait what?" Anna says confused
"I have. Once" He replies turning around smiling towards his two inquisitive daughters
"And you never told us this before" Anna says standing up and putting her hands on her hips
"I could tell you now, if you-" Starts their father but stops as the two girls jump up onto the bed
"Uh, okay, tell us now" Says both girls excitedly bouncing up and down
"Are you sure about this?" Questions the girls mother as she looks towards her husband
"It's time they know" He replies as both their parents sit on the bed, their mother sitting behind the girls whilst their father sits in front of them while holding a candle
"Let's make a big snowman later" Anna whispers into Elsa's ear
"If they can settle and listen" Points out their father as he touches Anna's shoulder making both the girls straighten up and sucking in a deep breath earning a chuckle from their father as he begins to tell his story.
"Far away, as North as we can go. Stood a very old and very Enchanted forest. But it's magic wasn't that of goblin spells and lost fairies. It was protected by the most powerful spirits of all. Those of air, of fire, of water and earth. But it was also home to the mysterious Northuldra people"
"Were the Northuldra magical? Like me?" Elsa asks her father
"No Elsa, they were not magical. They just took advantage of the forests gifts. Their ways were so different from ours. But still, they promised us friendship. In honour of that, your grandfather, King Runeard, built them a mighty dam to strengthen their waters. It was a gift of peace"
"That's a big gift of peace" Anna states
"And I was so honoured to get to go to the forest to celebrate it. I wasn't at all prepared for what the day would bring. We let down our guard. We were charmed. It felt so.. magical. But something went wrong. They were attacking us. It was a brutal battle, your grandfather.. was lost. The fighting enraged the spirits. They turned their magic against us all"
"There was this voice. And someone saved me. I'm told, the spirits then vanished and a powerful mist covered the forest. Locking everyone out. And that night, I came home, King of Arendelle"
"Woah Papa. That was epic! whoever saved you, I love them" Anna says collapsing into her mother's arms with her scarf falling on top of her.
"I wish I knew who it was"
"What happened to the spirits? What's in the forest now?" Elsa asks her father
"I don't know, the mist still stands. No one can get in, and no one has since come out"
"So we're safe" Replies the girls mother as she rubs Elsa's back in comfort
"Yes. But the forest could wake again and we must be prepared for whatever danger it may bring"
"And upon that note, how about we say goodnight to your father" Says their mother as she places her hand atop of her husbands who smiles while nodding his head.
"Ohhh, but I still have so many questions!" whines Anna as their mother and father get up
"Save them for another night Anna" Replies their father while shaking her little foot before leaving the room to turn in for the night.
