❄️Iduna's Point Of View❄️

I was currently walking down the red wallpapered hallways towards the ballroom which was closer to the entrance of the castle.

Seeing that the large double doors were wide open I walk in and begin looking for Kai with the fresh flowers still in my hands.

Looking around the large ballroom, I notice some of the staff were polishing the floor while others were dusting the red curtains. Walking towards the throne I catch a glimpse at the different paintings along the walls one being Agnarr and his parents. Staring closely at the painting of the toddler Agnarr, I zoned out not noticing the footsteps coming towards me.

"Ah Miss Iduna, how are you this fine day?" I hear a voice speak up from my right. Startled I turn and spot the person I came looking for.

Kai was a new member of the castle staff, though he's been here for several months already, he was recently promoted to being the overseer of the castle. He's only 6 years older than myself with orange hair and always wearing the colour green to represent the colours of Arendelle.

"I'm quite well thank you, how about yourself?"

"I'm very well thank you. What brings you here today?"

"I'm here to drop off these flowers to you. Agnarr said to bring them to you so you can decorate the castle entrance. Oh and I left extras for the ballroom as well" I say handing the basket of flowers to Kai.

"They are absolutely beautiful. They will definitely liven the place up for tomorrow evening" He responds taking the basket from my hands and nodding his head slightly.

"I must go, I'm having tea with Lena this evening. It was great seeing you again Kai" I smile waving as I begin making my way out of the ballroom

"You as well Miss Iduna"

Walking out of the castle gates I enter the town square and begin looking around.

"What should I get Agnarr for his birthday?" I ponder as I take a seat on a nearby bench

"A sword? No. He'd have plenty of those. Maybe a book? He loves to read" looking up from my spot I glance at the bookstore across the road.

"Wait I got it!" Jumping up from my seat I start walking towards the place Agnarr first took me to on our tour of Arendelle.

Opening the store door a bell sounds to signal that someone has entered the store.

"If it isn't my favourite customer! How are you today Iduna?" Booms the familiar voice of Alfred

"I'm great thank you! How about yourself?" I ask smiling as I come up to the counter

"I'm wonderful! How may I help you today?"

"I'm looking for a birthday gift"

"Ah is this was his Majesty" Alfred asks while smirking

"What?! No.. maybe" I whisper looking down as heat rises to my cheeks

"I know the perfect gift! These were recently imported from Europe, they are called Belgium chocolates and they are simply sublime!" Alfred says pulling out a Belgium chocolate for me to try. Taking a bite I'm instantly in love with it, so creamy and delicious.

"These are amazing! I'll get a box of them please oh and a mix of Turkish Delights as well please" I ask as I reach into my satchel grabbing out 5 gold pieces

"Here you go Iduna" Alfred says passing me the chocolates as I pass him the money

"Thank you Alfred!" I say walking towards the door

"Your welcome! Come again soon!" He smiles while waving goodbye as I leave the store.

Putting the chocolates in my satchel I begin walking up towards Lena's house. I soon arrive at the beautiful house that overlooked the fjord and rest of Arendelle. Walking up to the wooden door, I softly knock twice.

"Coming!" I hear a voice shout and a few things crashing onto the ground inside the house. Softly giggling the door opens to reveal Lena.

"Iduna! Come in!" She gestures moving aside for me to walk into her home.

"It sounded like you broke everything on your way to the door" I laugh as she smiles shaking her head letting out a soft chuckle

"You know how clumsy I can be"

"That's true"

"Follow me, I've prepared some tea and biscuits in the back garden"

Smiling I follow Lena to the back garden and take a seat on one of the chairs as she pours me a hot cup of tea.

"So.. How was your day in the castle" She smirks lifting the cup of tea to her mouth

"It was fine, the flowers are blooming nicely" I say looking down at the cup of tea in my hands

"Is that all that happened?" She questions with an eyebrow raised

"Nothing gets by you does it" I say biting into one of the biscuits

"Nope, now spill"

"Well uh, Agnarr came by when I was in the garden and he has invited both of us to the ball tomorrow night"

"Really!? This is so exciting!" She squeals bouncing up and down in her seat

"You should ask Helga if she could make us both a dress!"

"I presume you want a yellow dress" I smile

"Of course! You should come by here tomorrow evening and I can do your hair and makeup!" Lena says getting more excited

"But you don't have to Lena, you know I'm not a fan of makeup and having my hair done up fancy"

"No buts, you will come by and I'll make you so breathtaking that Agnarr will swoon at the sight of you" She smirks

"Lena!" I whine

"Not another word"

"Fine" giving up I continue to finish my cup of tea as we talk for another hour before I had to leave.

"I'll see you tomorrow evening! No backing out!" Lena calls out from the front door

"Alright! See you tomorrow" I smile waving goodbye before following a stone path that would eventually lead me back home.
