Sophie walked down the halls of her school, her arms holding up all her books. Sophie sighed. She needed to ask Edaline for a bag to carry her schoolbooks in, she couldn't keep walking like this. Sophie lifted her head a little higher to see where she was going.

BAM! Sophie fell to the floor and her books scattered across the hallway. A strawberry blonde boy sat on the floor across from her, looking dazed.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to crash into you," Sophie said quickly. She started picking up her books but then realized there was two of each textbook.

"I'm sorry as well," the boy blinked and stared at the textbooks on the ground. "Did you happen to write your name in the book?" Sophie groaned.

"No." They both groaned at the same time.

"Well look who it is. Two losers sitting on the ground together," a girl with frizzy hair and dark blue eyes sneered as she walked by. The boy rolled his eyes and picked up half of the textbooks.

"She better watch out for the next two weeks," the boy lifted all the textbooks into his arms again. "Dex Dizznee."

"Oh um Sophie," Sophie smiled as she picked up her textbooks.

"If you wrote any specific notes I can give your textbook back," Dex offered.

"No it's fine," Sophie answered.

"Well, if you need to fix anything I can help," Dex suggested.

"Sure," Sophie smiled quickly and walked down the hall to her class.

                                                     .                              .                                    .

"Get ready quickly Sophie! We're going to your Aunt Juline's house," Edaline called.

"You have a sister?" Sophie yelled back.

"Come on. Surely you remember her?" Edaline asked. Sophie racked her brain for images of an aunt.  Nope. Nothing.

 "No," Sophie replied. Edaline sighed.

"Well, you'll remember her once you see her," Edaline assured.

Edaline walked to the front porch and pressed the doorbell. Grady shot Sophie a reassuring smile and followed. Sophie sighed. Since when did her mother have a sister? The sound of footsteps echoed towards them and the doorknob twisted open.

A woman with amber coloured locks and turquoise eyes greeted them.

"Edaline!"

"Juline!" The two sisters embraced each other in a warm hug. The two looked so much like each other they could be twins.

"Sophie!" Juline turned toward her and Sophie instantly recognized her.  Aunt Juline who visited when she was 4! Juline wrapped her into a comforting hug and Sophie instantly relaxed.

"Hey Aunt Juline," Sophie said quietly.

"It's so nice to see you again! You've grown so much Sophie!" Juline remarked. Sophie smiled shyly and resisted the urge to pluck an eyelash. "I don't think you've met my children yet!" She turned around and gestured for them to come in.

"Kids! Come and meet your cousin!" Juline turned around and yelled. Sophie plucked an eyelash out before anyone could see it.  She heard a scream and something fall, and Juline sighed.

"Dex! Come down!" Juline shouted. Sophie's head spun. Dex? Why did that sound so familiar? A strawberry blonde boy with a freckled face came down the stairs.

"I'm here mom," Dex said. Sophie's eyes grew wide and Dex screeched to a halt.

"Sophie?"

"Dex?"
