This time the force on the good side was few but of great, great power. This time no real precautions were taken but the few that stood to fight were skilled in ways that not many, if any, were. They survived a battle of epic proportions. However, like the previous time, Dumbledore and McGonagall, the students and several other professors, stood huddled together with their wands pointed upwards, creating a protection dome to cover the school.

There was no way this shield would be broken through anytime soon, or without great effort. Spells were being casted around the castle for further protection.

Hermione and Draco roamed through the clearing, trying to find the horrid woman behind it all. She was nowhere to be found and neither were any of her cronies. It was absolutely silent. It didn't last, though.

From the corner of his eye, Draco caught sight of an army of witches and wizards clothed in black robes, walking behind and woman wearing a magnificent gown. Speak about dressed to kill, he thought. The malicious grins decorating their faces weren't enough to bring fear to the heroic duo but it was enough to make them clench their jaws. They were outnumbered.

With a loud crack of thunder, the fight began. Victoria's soldiers took the first attack - spells, jinxes and hexes flying through the air at full speed. The new order dodged them with ease, noting that these people weren't nearly as well trained as those from before.

Troops were chanting their war cries and then everyone began running head on, two groups moulding into one. People laughed and screeched manically as they took on people from the opposing side. Some sobbed and were silent, slumping down against tree trunks as they took their last breath.

The best they could do was hope for the possibility of no death and could hope for inly injuries at worst. But it was a war, something may go wrong. Very wrong.

"How are we going to do this? I mean any two people with – STUDPIFY – the powers we have could be able to stop the witch." Draco asked Hermione as they ran through the branches, fighting off Victoria's cronies and they went along.

Hermione shot a paralyzing spell to her right and then answered, "I don't know, Draco. The books weren't," Hermione grunted, jumping over a log, "Very clear on the specifics." She finished, another black–robed figure approaching them to the left.

Ginny ran into the pair with panic and haste, shooting spells behind her as she ran. "Sorry you two, got to go kick some death-eater rip off arse!" She ran, not bothering to help Draco up, whom she had knocked over in her haste. He groaned, jumping to his feet again and grabbing Hermione's hand to continue running.

"Exactly! Maybe it's got to do with love? You know, with the whole soulmates thing?" Draco said breathlessly, shooting blocking charms at the attacks. Hermione rolled her eyes.

"Obviously, idiot. But what about it?" She deadpanned.

"Selflessness?" Draco suggested, making Hermione stop in her tracks, Draco bumping into her and scowling.

"What? You can't just stop –"

"Draco... I know what we have to do. It's a sacrifice." Hermione said, looking down at the scab on her knee. Draco gasped, shaking his head.
