Saturday came and all students of the third year and fourth year levels are happy. They have their own formal wear and they're perfect for the event. All wore their high heeled shoes and black leather shoes, the appropriate footwear for the event.

They've been expecting some dates for the night and some aren't got dates when they arrived to the same convention center we walked last night. But I and my friends just walked inside the Davao Convention and Trade Center and sat on out respected chairs. We were separated at the moment though we enrolled to different classrooms.

Then the music started to sing around the cool air-conditioned hall and everyone are chilling and talking about the dresses they wear tonight. A couple of minutes later, the party started when Aprielle walk inside the hall. She's beautiful on her blue gown, three-inch heels and a diamond silver lining on her neck. She walked inside the hall with just herself and without any date.

The music is a little bit old school and old-fashion, though it's the Prom on the year '91. It's the year of changes, choosing careers and chasing the dreams we really wished and wanted to achieve. It is also the year where I and my high school friends and batch-mates to say good-bye to our Alma Mater though we're almost on our highest peak.

Aprielle walked to her seat on the other side of the hall, opposite to where am I now, and talked to her friends. She also looked around and noticed me in my new black suit. And she felt happy to that. So she looked back to her class and their gowns and tuxedos and noticed their finest watches on their wrists.

I looked at the stage, avoiding her eyes on me. I looked at the front and noticed my friends looking at their crushes. They wanted to be with them and they didn't know how to do this exactly, like I to Aprielle.

Dinner came and all students immediately head to the line of silverware at the back of our table, at my back actually. They took a large white ceramic plate, a pair of silver spoon and fork, and a small white bowl from the start of the line. Then they started taking some food from the silverware at their fronts, walked back to their seats and started eating them all.

I and my friends looked at each other and signed that we should go and get our food before everybody walk back to the silverware to get more food. So I stood up, walked to the end of the line, took my plate and my bowl, and waited for my friends to reach the line.

After a few minutes Von, Daniel, Kris and James walked to my back, at the end of the line and also took their spoons and plates. We looked at each other, laughed at each other on the dresses of their crushes and we're happy to get involved in this such wonderful night.

Then Kris leaned his head on me, smiling like he used to be. He's smiling because he just noticed Aprielle's eyes looking at me.

"Hey, dude." he whispered, on me. "Did you see Aprielle's eyes on you?"

I leaned at Kris and looked on his eyes, still pointing at Aprielle.

"What?" I asked, like I didn't heard what he just said. "Are you talking to me, Kris?"

"Yeah." he replied. "I said did you know Aprielle is looking at you?"

I looked at Aprielle on her chair and noticed she's looking at me. I turned around and faced my friends.

"Oh, yeah." I said, to them. "But I don't mind."  I said it with eyes closed.

Then I turned around again to face the tables and noticed the line is moving. So I moved and moved and the boys also moved. We picked our food, according to our taste, and walked back to our own seats. Then we chowed down and immediately emptied our plates.

I was full after the last spoon drop. Von also full and does Kris and James. But Daniel got the biggest appetite on our group. He stood up, walked to the end of the line and picked his greatest and most favorite food on the silverware, the Leche Flan. That sweet dessert with that gooey caramel on top, it's very irresistible and very high in calories too.
