March came and all students of the fourth year level are excited to graduate. They even paid the last tuition fee for this month and been studied overnight for the last examination week. Exam came in just two weeks after the opening of March and everyone was so excited for the incoming exams.
The teachers gave the questionnaires to the students and the students immediately answered all the questions on the test papers. I can see all students are busy in solving and answering all questionnaires and can't be disturbed at the moment. The examination days are two days here in the Philippines and we have only one night to study all lessons that has been taught for the entire year.
I looked at the questionnaires and noticed some are difficult, for them, but some are easy for them. It's a fifty-fifty percent chance that they'll pass the exam with higher grade and higher ranks. But, whenever I remember all my grades throughout the year, I imagined and decided to make some mistakes in the tests for the days just to give them some life lesson for life---- and that is they should listen to the teachers who taught them these lessons.
I just noticed that they didn't listen what the teachers taught every time the teachers teach some lessons to them. They just look at the others, smiled on them, and others looked at the skies, staring at the sky for a bit. They imagined that they have been dancing with their crushes, in the sky for sure. And some are having some bad times in making themselves useful and always in shape. But they didn't have a clue why they always curious on themselves even they have their own teacher on their fronts.
So I answered some of the questions correctly and some failed some questions, with a forty-sixty. After answering the first batch of test papers for the whole day, I and my fellow classmates walked out of the room and head home. Afternoon came and all my classmates are finished their house chores. They immediately head to their bedrooms, took some reviews and also took some notes to study for the next day.
The following came and I and my classmates immediately walked inside the room after the seven-thirty flag ceremony commenced. They studied some of the notes and memorized all equations of Algebra and the scientific methods they learned from Physics lessons. Then the proctor came and they immediately put their notes and books back on their bags. Then the proctor gave the test papers to the students, I and my classmates answered all questions and also had our scientific calculators on our tables for the difficult equations.
After answering the questions and the equations on the test papers, I and my classmates immediately gave the answered test papers to the proctor and walked back to our chairs to get our stuff and head home. After the tests, some of the students around the campus tried their way to the nearest malls around the town and walked to the food stops at the fourth floor of the malls to eat lunch, of course, and watch some movies, or even walk inside the arcades, waving their uniforms while waiting to be caught by security guards.
Two weeks later and the graduation day came at the end of the weekdays. All fourth year students are all excited to graduate and some are not sure if they pass or fail the exams, though they didn't know that they already passed the final exams. The training for the graduation rites begins with the Baccalaureate mass, that has been and always done inside the church, and followed by the graduation exercises afterwards.
I and my father woke up early in the morning. It's Friday, six in the morning to be exact, and I and my father walked to bath for the graduation rites. It was seven-thirty in the morning and I and my father hurriedly went to the school before eight. When we arrived the school, the students entered the school gate with their parents and relatives.
After a few minutes, the graduation coordinator walked to the students and gave the commencement exercise program in a form of a booklet. The booklet is like a greeting card with a drawing of a toga hat and a rolled diploma. I opened the booklet and read the contents. The contents is a list of achievements of all students who deserve for their great performance that should be rewarded.
