Chapter Eight

Talons POV

         While at dinner, my phone rings as well as Liam's and Luca's. We all stand up and leave to take our calls. "Yes. What is it Josh?" I say to our youngest recruit. "Boss....Shit!" the phone call is put on speaker as we hear gun shots after josh had dropped the phone. "Josh talk to me what is happening?!" The sound of yelling and more gun shots is head before it goes silent. We hear footsteps and then the phone is picked up and we hear heavy breathing. "Hello Talon. It seems as if some of you men have been in an accident." It was Loretti on the phone. He lets out a dark chuckle. "Loretti! I'll kill you! I will kill your men like pigs before taking your life with my own hands." I growl out. "Ha ha! Good luck with that. Oh, by the way. She sure is pretty. It would be a shame if little Lily were to go missing. Although, maybe I'll keep her for myself and make you watch as she is tortured and raped before I kill her and then leave you broken." He laughs again and hangs up the phone. My hand tightens around my phone, breaking it. "Talon. We have to find our boys and bring them home. We have to..." Liam starts but stops when Lily pokes her head into the room. "Daddy? Is everything ok? We heard yelling." I sigh and run my hand over my face. "Yes baby. Go back to the dinning room and eat. We gotta leave for work baby. Luca is going to stay. But baby, listen. Do not leave this house. At all! Got it?" I grab her chin to make her look at me. She bites her plump lower lip as she looks up at me. I kiss her possessively before I let her go. I grab my jacket and meet Liam at the door.

Loretti POV

           I look at the file, taking out the picture and smirking as I look at it. The girl in the picture had long dirty blonde hair in pigtails, blue grey eyes, a perfect pout and some slight dimples. She was a pretty little thing. I stare at the picture some more before someone knocks on my door. "Come in." I say gruffly. In walks in a young man. I smile at him as he sits on one of the chairs in front of my desk. "Boss. Any news on the plan?" the male asks with a wicked smirk. The male was tall with brown hair and dark eyes, his nose crooked from it being broken a few times from fights. "Both of you shut up. Now, Jackson, this is your target. I want you to grab her and bring her here. She will help us with bringing talon to his knees. Kill anyone who tries to stop you. Understood?" I hand him the picture and his smirk widens. "Sure boss. What if she puts up a fight?" he asks and puts the picture into his jackets inner breast pocket. "If she fights you can rough her up some. But I want her alive." He nods and gets up to leave the room. "Oh, and Jackson. Have some fun with her, I think you need it. Just don't break her." He smirks and nods before leaving the room and shutting the door behind him. I can't wait to break Talon for what he did to my daughter. She still wants him so I wont kill him, but I will make sure he doesn't think of rebelling against me or my daughter once he is forced to marry her. I chuckle darkly and stand to look out the window at the darkening sky.

Normal POV

         After Talon sent me away to go eat, I lost my appetite. I sit with everyone and just move around the food on my plate. Amelia looks and nudges me before she whispers in my ear. "Lily? You ok? Is it Talon?" I just shake my head and stand up. "I'm sorry. I'm not feeling too well. I am going to go lay down." I leave my plate and walk away. My stomach in knots feeling like something was wrong. I didn't know what it was, but I felt like something terrible was going to happen. I walk into my room and wrap a knitted blanket around myself. I stand at the window and look out at the dark back yard. I just stare at the sky for about 20 minutes before I go into the bathroom. "maybe a bath will help me relax." I murmur to myself as I grab some bubble bath, bath salts and my book before I start the bath. The huge tub had jets and I couldn't wait to use them. As the tub fills I grab a few vanilla and lavender candles and light them before dimming the bathroom lights and turning off the water. I strip, tie my hair up into a messy bun and step into the tub, sighing as the warmth engulfs my body. I lay in the water with my eyes closed before I grab my book, Conceal Don't Feel a twisted tale by Jen Calonita. (Read this series its amazing!) I get through about 3 chapters before the water starts to turn cold. I let some out water before I run more hot water into the tub. I turn on the jets and let out a small moan in content at the feeling of the jets relaxing my muscles. I keep reading for another 10 minutes before I let the water out and get up from the tub. I dry off and put everything away and blow out the candles before I go back into the room to change into my pajamas. I slide on clean panties and a large oversized shirt before I climb into bed and lay on my back to finish the chapter I am reading. I steadily nod off with my book on my chest.

Talons POV

             We got our men home. It was now 10 pm at night and we finally are back at the base. Out of the 15 we had sent on the mission, only 3 were killed, the rest we injured in some way or another. I sigh and cover the faces of our fallen men, one being the boy Josh. "Liam, make sure that everyone gets rest and tell doc to come by the house and give me a report on how bad the injuries are and who needs to sit out. I need to get home." Liam nods an pats my shoulder. "Don't worry Talon, we will get him back for this." I sigh again and pinch the bridge of my nose. "Yeah. He will. Will you get their family info and bring it to me? I want to make sure their families are taken care of." I say before I walk out to the car and get in. I rest my head against the steering wheel and sigh. My anger and sadness for the loss of my men hit deep in my heart. I start the car and drive back to the safe house, to my sweet girl. She had me wrapped around her finger already. I break the speed limit many times trying to get home. I wait at a red light and tap my fingers along the wheel willing the light to change faster. As the light changes, I start to go before an impact on the driver's side knocks my car, making it roll 3 or 4 times before it stops upside down. I groan and blink a few times. I can feel the blood on my head and see it dripping below me as I hang upside down from the seatbelt. I look to see a large truck pull closer, I could see that it had been the truck that had hit my car, I stayed still and waited until I saw the truck leave. I unclip my belt and fall before I kick out the rest of the window and crawl out. I stand up and hiss as i notice my shoulder was dislocated as well as a piece of metal sticking out from the same arm. I leave the metal and start to limp towards the safe house, which was a mile away. As I get closer, I smile and limp faster. I type in the code to the gate and slip in before I see Luca standing at the door. "Boss?!?!" he rushes forward and puts my good arm around his shoulder to help me inside. He helps me reset my shoulder and stitch up my arm. 

             I walk up to my room that I share with Lily. I smile as I see her asleep in our bed. As much as I wanted to get into bed with her, I knew she would freak out seeing me covered in blood. I quickly shower, washing off all the dried blood and dirt before I get out and dry off. I put on some boxers and climb into bed. I take her book and mark the page before I put it on my side table. I look down at the beautiful girl before I kiss her forehead. The shirt she had on had slipped off one shoulder, letting me see her milky skin that I just wanted to cover in marks and bites. I pull her small body to me and sigh as she lets out a small moan in her sleep making my cock instantly harden. 'Shit! Even in her sleep she has me hard and wanting of her.' I groan and bury my face against her neck and place a small kiss under her ear, sniffing her. Her soft cherry blossom scent making me relax and calm down. I hold her close as I close my eyes as I drift off into a restless sleep.
