Talons POV

I groan as the small maid cleans my gunshot wound. That fucker Loretti shot my thigh. The girl wraps my thigh and stands up. "Wait please miss." I say as she gets ready to leave. She nods and keeps her head down. "My girlfriend was here... Lily.. How.. How was she treated? Please I need to know she was ok." I say and she looks up at me with a small smile. "Miss Lily was very kind and treated well. She was given food and clothing after Mr. Jackson brought her here.... She cried herself to sleep most nights... This was her room. Her wounds were severe and she was scared but she stayed strong and behaved so that Mr. Loretti wouldn't hurt her. She always said thank you when I brought her food and clothing... I am sorry... I wanted to help her.. but..." she trails off and I nod. "When I get free you can come with me. You are a nice girl and I want to help you leave this place. Ok?" she nods and picks up her supplies and leaves the room. I lay back on the chair and hiss slightly from the pain. They took my phone and gun away once we got into the car. I look around the room and see small things that made me realize it really was her room. The books next to the bed, a small pair of shoes by the door, and a small teddy bear sitting on the bed. I sigh and rub my face as I lean back again. My eyes closed as I smile softly thinking about how I had my girl in my arms for a brief second an hour ago. Her small body pressed against mine. She was thinner then when I had last seen her, but still as beautiful as always. I'm so glad I got her out. I knew she would be taken care of by Liam and my family. I would do anything to keep her safe, even if it meant dying or doing things that I would regret. The door opens and Loretti walks in with a smug smile on his face. "I see you are all patched up. I'm not too happy about getting shot in the shoulder, but I got your blood too so I'll forgive it for now. Now, my daughter is excited to see you for dinner. If you don't want me to kill the little angel you love, you will behave and propose to her." he says as he rubs his beard. I glare at him and scoff. "I would rather die then marry your whore of a daughter. She cheated on me with other men in our bed!" I growl and his face darkens in anger. "You will marry her or I will send Jackson back over there to grab Lily and then kill her and your family!" he screams at me and the door opens as his daughter comes in. "Talon! Baby I missed you!" she yells and throws herself at me. I grunt as she jostles my leg and push her away. She pouts and lets out a whine. "Babyyyyy..." I give her a forced smile. "I'm just injured.. sorry sweetheart." the words feel like acid as they slip out of my mouth but I knew I needed to act nice to protect my princess. Jenifer pouts but nod before turning to her father. "Daddy! I'm so glad we are all together! I need to finish getting ready! I'll see you at dinner baby!" she presses a kiss to my lips and then hurries out of the room. Loretti follows her out of the room and shuts the door. I wipe my mouth and sigh.

Liams POV

I sit in my room with my head in my hands, waiting for Luca to call. I feel like I failed my duty to my boss, even though I knew my main job was to get Lily back to the bunker. I almost jump when I hear my phone ring. "Luca?" I ask as I place the phone to my ear. I walk to the door and wave Cain in. Once he walks in and shuts the door I put it on speaker. "We have eyes on the boss and Loretti. The men and I are ready to go in when he gives the signal. What the hell happened? He was dragged inside while bleeding."i look at Cain and nod. "Loretti shot him in the leg, and then I shot him in the shoulder. He moved before I got the perfect shot." Cain says and I start pacing. "Well at least you shot him.... Shit... ok so once we get the signal, we will get Talon out and head to the newest safe house. I'll send a text to you when we go. Make sure you get them to the new house as soon as I send the text. How is she?" he asks and I stop pacing. "She is.... Sad and scared... she wants him.." I say and I hear him hum. "God... that video.... I can't wait to bust Talon out, kill Loretti and that bastard who hurt her." Luca growls out and I can't help but smile. We all loved that girl like she was family. We hang up and Cain pats my shoulder. "I think that that girl has already wormed her way into everyone's hearts. I know you are reliving bad memories and feeling like you failed Talon, but you didn't fail. You brought her home to everyone. She is safe now and that was always a priority for Talon. He is grateful for you bringing her home." he says before leaving the room. I nod and sit back down on my bed with my head in my hands. A soft knock is heard and I look up. Lily stood there with a small stuffie in her hands and her pacifier in her mouth. I give her a smile and wave her in. "Hey sweetheart. You ok?" I ask quietly and she hugs her stuffie tightly and walks into the room. Tears fill her eyes and she rushes to me. I wrap my arms around her and sit her on my lap. "It's ok sweetheart. I got you." I rub her back as she sobs into my chest. Her body shakes as she clings to me and my heart breaks for the small girl in my arms. After a few minutes she sniffles and pulls away. I give her a small smile and wipe her eyes. "Tell me whats wrong little one. Tell me what has you crying so hard. Is it the memories?" she nods and I run my fingers through her hair. "I... I am scared to close my eyes.. I'm scared because every time I close my eyes I can see him and feel his hands on me... I want Talon but he isn't here and Loretti told me that Talon had to marry his daughter or he would kill me... I don't want to die but I don't want him to marry her... I want daddy back!" she starts to sob again. I hold her to me and kiss her head. "Shh... I know little one.... I know... we will get Talon back. I swear it. We all care and admire him. We all want our boss back." I whisper and rock her. She fell asleep in my arms and I couldn't help but hold her a little longer. Her small body bringing me comfort and solace. After a few more minutes I pick her up and place her in my bed. I cover her up and slip the fallen pacifier in her mouth. I brushed her hair away from her face and smile. Once this was all over I would get my own little who I would love and care for and who would be friends with this small girl. I turn on the lamp and leave the door cracked before I walk out of the room to let her rest.
