"Thanks, Mary May for letting me use the Spread Eagle to get ready for today," thanked Abigail as she was getting ready for her wedding with Aiden. She had help from myself, Grace, Kim, Aiden's daughter Aliyah, Mary May, Jess Black and Tammy Barnes from the Mountains as well as Adelaide Drubman and Tracey Lader from the River. "Thanks to everyone for helping out with whatever they can. It means a lot to me."

"Anytime, honey. We help out our own around these parts," started Adelaide.

"So how does Aiden feel that he's marrying himself into that fucked up family of yours?" Grace questioned. "Or Nick for that matter since he and Aiden are brothers."

"Well, Aiden's alright with it. Keep in mind, we're not going to associate ourselves with them," Abigail answered.

"That's Nick's response too," Kim piped in. "Oh, speaking of him, he's still going to walk you down the aisle," she quickly added.

A confused look came over Tracey's face. "Don't you have family that hasn't been killed yet that could do that? Like biologically?"

Abigail nodded her head in a 'no' motion. "My biological dad died in prison when he got arrested for abusing me and my brothers. My mom is...probably dead, but more than likely in some institution. My first adopted parents don't want anything to do with me after Jacob burned down their entire property. The Duncan family, my second adopted parents with John, are literal spawns of Satan that don't want anything to do with me – and the feelings mutual. There could've been one of my brothers to do it, but really, it would just cause a bloodbath among everyone here which I don't want to deal with on my wedding day. Also, it's a way of Nick to repay me for me bringing him back Carmina."

Tammy nodded her head in an 'oh true, makes sense' motion. "Alright well, I don't know about the rest of the girls here, but you look beautiful," Adelaide commented. Everyone in the room nodded their heads in agreement with her. "Now, time to get the show started."

When the time came, I stood my place by the altar in Jerome's church. Abigail had asked me, Aliyah and Tracey to be her bridesmaids – Aliyah being the maid of honour. Over on Aiden's side, he had Nick as his best man as well as having Sharky and Hurk on his side. As Abigail and Aiden turned to look at Jerome, he started with, "Dearly beloved, we're gathered here today to celebrate the unification of marriage between Aiden Rye and Abigail Seed—"

The doors of the church opening up interrupted Jerome. Everyone in the church turned to look at the doors and saw Joseph, John, Jacob, and Faith walk inside. "Guys, this is for guests only," Jerome said as he reached down underneath the altar and grabbed his gun.

"Relax Pastor Jerome," Jacob said as all four of them carefully raised their hands as they sauntered down the aisle. "We're just here for our baby sister. When we heard the news that today's the day of her wedding, we just had to be here for her. She would do the same for us in a heartbeat."

As the four of them placed her hands back down John said, "We give you our words that we're not going to do anything to disrupt this marvellous occasion."

"Is that okay, Abby?" Aiden questioned.

Abigail rolled her eyes. "Fine, whatever. I don't want to deal with that right now," she responded as the four of them sat down in the first pew that they found. I looked over at the four of them; Joseph was the only one that was looking at me. As he had a small, soft smile on his face from looking at me, I gave a forced smile back towards him. "You okay?" Tracey questioned loud enough for me to hear as she noticed what had happened.

"Yeah," was my answer.

As everyone was leaving the church, I felt a firm hand grip on my shoulder as I got pulled away from everybody else. "That could've been the two of us if you just cooperated," Joseph commented with a snarl when we were out of earshot from everybody. Which he decided was off in the woodsy area behind the church as everyone was going to the Spread Eagle for the reception.

I rolled my eyes. "Y'know the number of times you and your crazy family try to convince me that we should be together, the more I resist, right?" I questioned.

"You still don't understand—" Joseph cut himself off when he felt like he was going to yell in my face; something that he didn't want to do. He let out a sigh to calm himself down and then asked, "I got an idea."

"Oh boy," I commented. "What?"

Joseph took a couple of minutes to try and get the words to come out of his mouth, something that I saw from him. "Later on tonight. Later on tonight, I'll come over to your place and the two of us will hang out and uh..."

Trying to suppress a laugh I asked, "Are you trying to ask me out on a date?"

A sheepish smile came across Joseph's face. "You can tell it's been forever since I went through this," he pointed out.

A small laugh left my mouth. "Do you promise to not talk about the wedding, the cult, or anything like that?" I questioned. Joseph nodded his head in a 'yes' motion. "Yeah sure," I said with a soft smile on my face. I can't believe I just said yes. "Now....let's get back with everyone before they suspect anything," I quickly added before walking away from Joseph and heading back towards the Spread Eagle.

"There you are!" Abigail said with a tone of happiness as she rushed over and dragged me over towards her and Aiden. "Where were you, girl? We started to become worried."

Well, I kind of accepted the date with the Devil himself. "Just needed some time by myself," I answered with a shrug of my shoulders.
