Sharky turned off the disco music after we had enough burning of the Angels for one day. We also killed a few alive Peggies when they stopped by after hearing the music and wanting to take me back to the compound. "Man, burning those fuckin' Angels with you is probably the best part of my day," Sharky told me with a huge smile on his face.
"Same here," I said. "You know what," I started as me and him climbed down from the roof of the trailer and walked inside. "You know what we should do?" I questioned.
"What, Shorty?" Sharky questioned.
"Get the gang together plus maybe a few other Resistance members, head over down to the 8-bit bar and just fuckin' party. Get our minds off of the cult, even for just a little bit," I answered with a shrug of my shoulders. "I was gonna suggest the jail, but pretty sure Virgil and my father would be against it being there."
"Fuck yeah man, I'm with ya. However, the last time we all partied, it ended up with you getting kidnapped for a few days and getting carved like a turkey," he pointed out as he nodded his head towards the visible scars that he could see.
I rolled my eyes jokingly. "Bro, that was one time. Pretty sure Faith's going to be busy conniving up a scheme with Joseph to try and get me to be with him. Even then, he's probably still busy under the influence of the fact that he fucked a girl in a good few years, so he's busy," I explained with a small laugh.
"You got a point. Alright, it'll be a fun time."

"How come every time we get together and drink, shooting things with arrows always becomes a thing?" Nick questioned. Him, myself, Sharky, Hurk, Grace, and Jess were hanging out at the back of the 8-Bit Pizza Bar ready to have another shooting competition; similar to the one that we did during the Testy Festy. Everybody else that came here was hanging around inside the bar "Especially at night," he quickly added.
Grace shrugged her shoulders. "Just happens. Girls versus the guys?" She offered. "Since there's six of us here, it seems to be logical."
"Aww c'mon, man!" Hurk yelled out. "That's not fair! You two," he pointed to Grace and Jess. "Do this for a living. And you," he pointed to me. "Well, you just have an accurate shot a lot of the time."
"So?" Jess questioned. "That just means to me that we're going to win," she added.
"Yeah we'll see about that," Nick commented.
A sly smirk came across my face. "You know what? Since we're drinking and having a slight competition, we need to have a wager. Like it'll be a bit of a bet thing of sorts," I said.
An intrigued look came across Sharky's face. "What do you have in mind, Lil-bean?" He questioned. " 'Cause if it involves drinking, then you know I'm down. If I get to light things on fire then--" he added.
"No. No way in Hell we're letting a drunk Sharky use fire," Jess interjected, cutting him off in the process. "We can barely tolerate and let him use one when he's sober for fucks sakes," she added.
Sharky opened his mouth to say something to Jess but it was me that said, "No he's not going to use a flamethrower."
A pout came across Sharky's face. "Man, I never get to have all the fun," he muttered underneath his breath while crossing his arms.
"But what we're going to do is a little something I like to call: we'll all drink a crap ton of shots and try to shoot the targets. If the girls get more shots on targets than the boys, then the boys have to drink as much alcohol until we tell them to stop," I explained. I looked at Nick and added, "Nick, you'll be slightly off the hook for that one because of Kim being pregnant and going into labour at any moment. We kind of want you to be sober when that happens."
