AN: Sorry for the lack of updates! I've recently went back to college last month and now...everything has hit my life at once! However I hope to get back into the swing of things with my writing!

After highly convincing Sharky and Abigail that I was well enough to continue with my mission, the three of us travelled up back to the Whitetail Mountains and helped out a handful of people to try and piss off Jacob and set off one final battle between mainly myself and him. As the three of us were walking back to our car, Sharky commented, "It's almost done. Just need to deal with Jacob before we go head-to-head with Broseph. Then everything can get back to normal."

A smile came across my face as Abigail said, "Agreed."

As I regained consciousness, I found myself back in the familiar prison-like cell that Jacob had kept me in before numerous times. While my eyes adjusted to its surroundings, I found the music box that Jacob kept on him that played Only You. With all of my strength I had in my body, I lunged towards the cell door, poked my arm through the bars and tried to grab a hold of it. Just as my fingertips reached the box, Jacob's foot stomped as hard as it could on my hand. I let out an ear-piercing scream. "Fuckin' son of a bitch!" I yelled out. "Don't worry you'll be out of here soon enough," Jacob said. "Did you think you were free?" He questioned. He bent down and grabbed the box, all while keeping his eyes on me. "Your little buddy, he's in a whole lot of trouble for nothing. He knows better now," Jacob said while tuning up the music box. Fuck you for hurting Staci! "I told you you're not a hero. You are a tool and you know your purpose." Jacob opened up the box and Only You played, allowing me to go back unconscious.

As I finished up another round of the trials that Jacob placed me in, it was all just one blurred motion with a voice yelling, "Don't shoot!" I disregarded the shouting as I shot the final target anyways.

Once I did, everything seemed to stop and turn into slow motion.

While my eyes adjusted again to everything around me, I saw Eli in front of me slowly falling with blood flailing around; indicating that the last person I shot was him. "Only you can make this world seem right," Jacob's voice sang in an eery tone. "Only you can make the darkness bright," he added as he walked into my field of vision. He walked over to a falling Eli and said, "Hey, only you could have gotten this close. Only you could have gotten his trust." Jacob looked straight at me as he walked around Eli and added, "It was ever only you. Good work, you did it. You passed your test. You made your sacrifice. But now," Jacob approached me and got close to me. "You're alone. You're weak. We both know what happens to the weak. I cull the heard; it's what I do. I'll be outside waiting for you, Chosen One." Jacob then walked away.

Once he did, a flash of light happened, bringing me back to the Wolf's Den. "Eli!" Tammy yelled out as she rushed to Eli's side.

"What the fuck did you do?!" Wheaty yelled out as he grabbed my shoulder, forced me to turn around to look at him as he pointed a gun to my face. He pushed me away as he yelled out, "You killed him! You fuckin' killed him!"

"Wheaty, no!" Tammy yelled out to try and stop him. As Wheaty continued his yelling, Tammy butted in with, "It was Jacob. Listen to me," she said which got Wheaty to calm down just a little bit. "It was Jacob. We've seen this before. Ronnie, Parker, this is what he does. We've just let him right in." Tammy grabbed the gun from Wheaty's hands, turned around to look at me and grabbed me by my shirt collar. "You find that motherfucker. You find Jacob. You go kill that son of a bitch." She pushed me away from her and added, "If you don't; the next time I see you, so help me God I'll kill you myself you bitch."

A sigh left my mouth as I left the Wolf's Den. When I did, I saw that the world had a red tint to it and everything was practically on fire. "Lily!" Abigail yelled out as she rushed over to the door of the bunker. While I closed it she added, "Now let's go kill this son of a bitch!"

"Where's Sharky?" I questioned.

"He's with Hurk, don't worry about him. Focus and worry about Jacob," Abigail stated.

After Abigail and I climbed up on top of the mountain that Jacob was hanging out, we walked around a tree that was blocking our paths as we heard Jacob say, "My brother saw all this coming. I don't know if he talks to God...that doesn't matter. He was right."

Abigail and I walked over towards him as he was leaning up against a rock; his hand clutching to his chest as blood was pouring out of his body. "What the fuck are you talking about?" Abigail questioned.

"Humanity is once again in crisis. It doesn't matter what we build or achieve...we will always find a way to break it down," Jacob answered. The two of us cautiously walked over towards the eldest Seed brother as he continued saying, "Babylon. Rome. Empires rise, empires fall. America – we're no different." Jacob reached out and grabbed my arms and held me in place. "We think we're indestructible. World War Two. War on 'Terror'; we survived it. It only brought us closer to the edge. This is where we are. Right here on schedule, just waiting for someone to push us. Oh boy," a forced sadistic laugh escaped from Jacob's mouth. "You, Joseph's little 'chosen one' pushed us; with help from the black sheep of the family," Jacob nodded his head towards Abigail when he said that.

"Pushed us?" I questioned. "What does that even supposed to mean? I didn't fucking do anything except take you guys out and reclaim my home town as it once was."

"You did everything he said you would do. And you didn't know it," Jacob answered as he pushed me away from him. "You had no fucking clue." Those were the last words that escaped from his mouth before Jacob died.

Abigail was the one who reached over and grabbed the keys to his bunker off of his neck. I looked up at her and asked, "What's wrong?"

"I don't know really," Abigail answered. "Always looked at Jacob as sort of my father figure growing up whenever I saw him. However, I'm just glad he's dead."

I looked down at Jacob's dead body and simply said, "Well, now we have to deal with the patriarch of this whole fucking mess. That's going to be fun."
