Joseph's POV

Faith took quick notice of me when she saw me walking out of the church after another successful sermon delivered to the members of Eden's Gate. "Joseph!" She called out, catching up to me trying to get my attention. I turned around and looked at the young Herald. "You look a lot more optimistic and hopeful than you usually do. What happened?" She questioned.

"Lilith," I answered. "I believe we're making progress with her."

An intrigued look came across Faith's face. "How so?"

"She's starting to realize that she's in the wrong and realizes what she's supposed to do," I answered.

A huge smile came across Faith's face as she clapped and jumped a little bit for joy. "That's amazing, Father. Not only will she be an excellent wife for you, but she'll be an excellent replacement for John down in the Holland Valley," she explained.

"That is true, Faith," I said. "I just need to crack her open a bit more; she's still a bit stubborn."

Faith nodded her head in a 'you got a point' kind of way before looking like a lightbulb went off over her head. "And I know just how to take that one step closer...without my help," she said, referring to her efforts that she's done to Lilith down by the river during her time in that region.

An intrigued look came over my face. "Oh? Do tell, Faith," I said.

"From what I heard talking to her friend as they were viciously murdering my Angels, all of her friends are going down to this bar, I believe it's the 8-Bit Pizza Bar that's located by our former place to produce the Bliss. I know it wouldn't be wise under the eyes of God for you to do this, but maybe you can head over there and try and at least help Lilith be convinced of God's plans for her. Besides, from what I see in her, she wants to admit feelings for you but is either too scared or too prideful in the fact that she doesn't want to ruin what she's done," Faith explained. "However, if you do go there, you need to be disguised as one of...them. If they ever find out it's actually...you, you'll be killed. We can't have you killed."

Faith walked away, leaving me to think about the options that she had given me. What could go wrong if I went?

I sat down at one of the makeshift tables inside the bar; looking at all the action unfolding in front of me trying to make me not being noticed seriously. I left my glasses back at the church and removed the bun that my hair was in, trying to make myself unnoticed by the crowd. My eyes were fixated on Lilith as she was conversing with a couple of people, two men to be exact. My blood boiled a little bit; she was giving everyone here attention, but wouldn't have given me the time of day otherwise. However, I let that go to the wave side as I studied her beauty. How her simple paid shirt with a pair of light blue jeans and sneakers and how her hair is in low pigtails were making Lilith looking like an angel. Also with how she is with me when we're not talking about God and Eden's Gate, how she acts so angelic makes her such. "Hey," I heard Aiden greet as he sat down beside me. "What's up?" He questioned. I didn't give a response, knowing my voice would give me away in an instant. I was also trying to find ways to not blow up at Aiden due to our vast differences with our ways of thinking. "Having voice troubles? Laryngitis or something?" Aiden questioned. I nodded my head in a 'yes' motion, not giving Aiden the time of day and just looking at Lilith's direction. "Alright, I'll do the talking if that's alright?" Aiden questioned. I nodded my head in a 'yes' motion.
