It's been a couple hours. Josh and I had hung out today, something we haven't done in a while. Just watching movies with popcorn or gasping over shows. We kept quiet since James was still sleeping. Which didn't bother me, but was curious as to why he wasn't awake yet..so I ended up going to check.
As I quietly opened the door, I seen the bed was empty.. but the shower was running. He's up.
"Why are we sneaking?" Josh whispered way to loudly behind me and I jumped. I had came up alone while he focused his face on the tv screen cause Jennifer Aniston popped up. We were binge watching Friends. Yes and shut it.
"Shit..." I smacked his arm, "I could've killed you."
"Sure..", he smirked. "With what weapon?" Ass.
"Shh.. He's awake and showering."
"Oh...great." I could tell he wasn't thrilled. He didn't want our friend bonding to be ruined.
"He is right here. He just got out of said shower." James' voice came from in front of us both.
I screamed and Josh bumped back into the wall behind him.
"Imma shoot someone one day." I grumbled and looked ahead seeing James with a towel around his waist and drying his hair with another. I'd have liked it...if I hadn't have see his inner self already.
He smirked, "you've never held a gun before. Worse case, you accidentally hit yourself."
I glared at him and felt Josh doing the same behind me. "Would not.."
"Sabby...Let's go back downstairs....come on." Josh had grabbed my arm to pull me along, I went against protest.
"Josh..slow down. Imma fall at this rate." He pulled like a mule with a buggy. "Josh. Stop."
"I'd rather not."
I yanked myself free of his hand once down the stairs and stopped seeing Josh's eyes. "Joshua...calm down.. you've got Phantom all spiked." I could see his orange glow even in the homes brightness.
He sighed closing his eyes and rubs them, "It's not me. Imma go... best I'm not in the same house..."
"You aren't going anywhere.. we're gonna continue our fan addiction to Friends." I led him, with my arm hooked around his, back to the living room. "Now sit." He flopped down and brought me down with.
"Oof... Now. We continue our show. Hopefully James has business out of the house to do.." I threw the blanket over us both and curled up.
He smirked, "he isn't gonna like you snuggling me.."
"Of a what? 13, 14 year old boy?"
"Ouch...."
I smiled innocently, "no offense..."
"Mmhmm.."
Footsteps came from the stairs and there appeared James. "James isn't worried about said kid." He kinda flopped his footing off the last step. If only he'd fall...
B: yeah...Sure buddy. *squeaks at him*
I look to the stairway and bite my lip hearing Bree. I knew James heard cause he was grinning at me.
"Umm.. there's breakfast in the microwave....just warm it and it'll be fine.."
"I know how it works." He disappeared into the kitchen.
I heard very quiet growling and looks beside me to Josh. "No... leave it be.. He's just going through stuff.."
"He's going through shit alright. Imma end up putting him in the bloody ground."
