The Angel or Devil Problem

Chapter 14

"YAH YAH BEOMGYU DONT YOU DARE,  CALM DOWN." Soobin covered Kai's lips to protect him from beomgyu, who yeonjun and Taehyun were holding back.
    "KAI ARE YOU SERIOUS YOU WANT A FIRST KISS????" beomgyu couldn't believe that was the problem he got sent to balance for.
     "Yeah..well I didn't have a crush on anyone so I couldn't have my first kiss...." Kai twiddled his fingers embarrassed.
     "Didn't?" Soobin asked. "Well..I do now..but I don't think they would kiss me.." Hueningkai slyly laughed as beomgyu calmed down.
     "Well good. That's what we're here for. Who do you like? Who's the lucky girl huh? I figure we go set up a magical dinner date, she falls in love with our human and boom- first kiss- problem balanced." Yeonjun and Beomgyu actually agreed on this one as Kai got quiet.
      "Y-yah...I can't just tell you who it is .." Kai covered his face. Soobin stared completely unworried about the others. He was surprised to see Hueningkai so flustered over someone. He didn't understand why he felt...jealous? Greedy? Maybe. He felt awful for thinking like that, but couldn't help it.
    "Alright alright fine, how about tommorow, we go to hmm...let's say an indoor pool? Right? I've read those on magazines! And you can invite your crush to see if they will come. Then, if they're there we help you impress them yeah?" Taehyun held out his hand to Kai.
      "Yeah..." Kai shook Taehyuns hand and got up. "Is it 7? I've got to het ready for school! I'll ask them there then, you guys stay home!" Kai checked his watch and ran inside to grab his backpack and uniform, waving and running down the street towards the school.
     "I swear humans go from one thing to another like blinking man.." yeonjun leaned on the porch and watched hueningkais figure leave the street.
    "So beomgyu, you can work electronics, wanna research ways to get a girl to fall for you?" Yeonjun went inside Kai's house with the others and sat beomgyu at Kai's mothers laptop.
     And so, the balancers began their search on the wide web for way to make a girl fall for you, while the human suffered through school.

     "What happened to you?" Taehyun looked over the couch when he saw Hueningkai arrive back home.
    "Tests. Tests happened. Where are the others?" Huening set his bag down and slipped his shoes off.
      "They're looking up ways to get your girl crush to fall for you." Taehyun pointed to his mom's office and Kai saw three boys huddled around the computer.
    "I'm home!" Hueningkai waved his arms trying to catch their attention. The boys were really focused on something.
     "Guys?" Hueningkai tapped soobins shoulder getting all of them to flinch. "Oh Kai welcome back! We clicked on a thing called YouTube to look for tips but we found this and other things!" Soobin hugged him and showed him the screen.
    They were watching ice skating videos. Hueningkai reached over and checked the watch history. Cat videos, memes, songs, dancing, challenges, and ice skating. Well at least the balancers found the foundation of the internet.
    "You guys like ice skating?" Hueningkai smiled surprised at the boys entranced with the screen. They looked like cats watching a cat treat wave in front of their face.
      "We can go, it's cold and snowing so I'm sure the rink is open. It's harder than the screen makes it look though." Hueningkai  sat the boys look at him with smiles.
     "Well what about your crush and first kiss?" Beomgyu paused the video and furrowed his brows to kai. "We can't keep pushing it off, soon enough the month will be over!"
     "Ah- actually she goes there everyday." Hueningkai lied. In fact, his crush wasnt a she at all...
     "WHAT?! THEN WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR LETS GO!" yeonjun tapped beomgyus thigh asking him to get off his lap so he could leave the computer chair. Beomgyu stood and ran out the door.
    "Its dark already, you guys ok with skating at night? It's usually a time couples go there so we'll probably be the only group of boys." Hueningkai flushed saying it but it was true.
    "That's ok, were going to make someone fall in love with you right?" I'm more worried if you have enough warm clothes." Beomgyu said tugging on his thin T-Shirt.
     "Let's just summon warm clothes for ourselves, do youind Hueningkai? It only takes a little magic." Yeonjun rubbed his hands together ready.
    "No. Go ahead I'll put on mine." Hueningkai headed towards the door to get his snow gear and scarf but was stopped by soobin grabbing his arm.
    "Ah- wait I'll summon you a nice winter outfit if you want!" Soobin smiled, he really just wanted to show off his angel magic.
        "Really?!! Yeah!" Hueningkai stood arms out ready and watched the four balancers use their different magic.
    Beomgyu and soobins magic was very pretty, White cloud like whisps with sparkles, very cute. Kai smiled when soobins surrounded him. He felt like Cinderella.
     He saw yeonjuns and Taehyuns was more dark looking with black smoke and feathers. He was in awe at all their outfits, damn.
      "What are these?" Hueningkai chuckled at the wings on the back of their jackets.
    "Ah, just a group recognizable thing. So we can spot anyone of us across the rink." Yeonjun showed off his . "Of course you're the only one who will see us."
      "Are we gonna gawk at our outfits the whole time or can we go do the ice skating?" Taehyun was holding the front door open.
    "Let's fly! Please, my mom is in her room she would definetly notice if I stole her car." Hueningkai jumped on soobin for a sudden piggy back.
    "Let's walk. Isn't it close to that holiday for humans? I wanted to try hot chocolate." Taehyun pointed across the street to a Christmas tree in the neighbors window.
    "Oh Christmas? You guys are going to be here for Christmas!!! This is already the best Christmas and it's not even here! I have so many things to tell you on the way we can definetly walk now!" Hueningkai quickly he soobin and yeonjun's arms, dragging them outside.
     Taehyun looked and Beomgyu and they shared a laugh at the suddenly enthusiastic human boy and followed before they got left behind.
      "These are lights, there are a lot when Christmas comes around its a way of decorating for it!" Hueningkai pointed all around the street to the lights, showing the boys.
     "On Christmas, friends and family exchange gifts and sometimes santa too. I'll get you guys all presents like that." Hueningkai pointed to a gift box decoration in a window.
     "WAIT STOP. I NEED TWO MINUTES." Taehyun harshly halted the boys he linked arms with when he saw a cafe window.
     The boys were confused but when they saw that it was a hot chocolate special they all sighed and agreed to wait outside. "Let him have his hot chocolate he's waited long enough." Yeonjun laughed at the devil in the shop looking at the menu with his mouth wide open.
     Hueningkai unzipped soobins jacket suddenly. "What- is something wrong?" Soobin took his hands from his pockets to see what Kai was doing.
     "Ahhh much better." Kai rubbed his cold hands in circles on soobins stomach. He seemed like he was burrowing in his jacket.
    "Yah! You're making me cold too!" Soobin shivered but huddled with Kai. "Once we get moving on the rink it won't seem as cold." Beomgyu rubbed his hands together and watched Taehyun come out with his hot chocolate happily sipping it.
    "Alright we can continue." Taehyun took the lead with his hot chocolate and Soobin zipped his jacket back up, following Taehyun with kai hugging his back like a koala.
     Beomgyu was pulled forward to follow them by yeonjun pulling his hand in his own. Beomgyu stared at his hand in yeonjuns pocket.
     "Devil's are naturally warmer I guess huh?" Beomgyu noticed neither Taehyun or yeonjun were that cold.
     "I guess." Yeonjun laughed, looking like a dragon with the smoke from the cold air.
      "Five." Hueningkai held out his money to the man at the gate and he let him on the platform, waiting to see the other four he mentioned. "They're coming later?" Hueningkai laughed and got away with it.

     "You put on the skates like this." Hueningkai slipped his on and tied them.
    "We know how to out on shoes Kai." Taehyun set his hot chocolate down and Kai noticed they were all already tying their skates.
     "Alright not to brag but since this is your first time I'll warm you it's really hard if you need tips i can-" Hueningkai had to double take when he saw yeonjun already gliding across the ice.
     "WHAT?!" Hueningkai did not believe that a devil would one up him on the ice.
     Hueningkai slid onto the ice to ask him if this was really his first time.
    "Ah- wait." Soobin wanted to stay with Hueningkai but could hardly stay upright. He didn't want to look lame so he invented a new way to ice skate. With wings.
    Soobin used his wings as extra support and sped to Hueningkai.
"He's a fast learner." Soobin laughed and stopped a baffled Hueningkai from swatting yeonjun.
     "So where's your crush?" Soobin looked around the ice rink. No one here looks good enough for Kai to- soobin cut off his rid thoughts but couldn't help getting a little jealous for some reason.
     "She's here, skate with me. It'll help me show off my talent." Hueningkai lied through his teeth but was happy he wasn't technically lying. He was skating with his crush here so he kept his words true.
     Soobin tried to hold back a laugh and it turned Into a snort. "isn't a waltz better to try on ice than the tango?" He said.
    "Ah, you know dances?" Hueningkai held a waltz form and started skating.
