The Angel or Devil Problem

Chapter 5

       Soobin tried to fall asleep but couldn't. The bed he shared with the human boy in front of him was comfortable, but he couldn't sleep. Their plan to go against the angel and devil laws was terrifying and thrilling at the same time. Maybe it was a good thing that yeonjun got the four of them in this mess, this human was willing to help them live in the human world. Soobin smiled from his thoughts.
     "You're smiling." Hueningkai cracked open an eye to soobin. Soobin nearly fell out of the bed startled, but Kai grabbed his arm. "Woah sorry I didn't mean to scare you I was just wondering what you were smiling about." Hueningkai whispered.
     Everyone else was presumably asleep after all so they had to be quiet talking. "I'm just....happy that you want to help us. I've never talked to a human. Where were from you guys are....hmm think about it like we're office workers, and humans are a form or paper we work on. You're a good human." Soobin didn't notice Hueningkai glaring until after he was finished speaking.
     "Did I say something?" Soobin looked at him confused. "No no sorry just that part about me being compared to basically a piece of paper." Hueningkai scowled. "Oh- im sorry i-i didn't know how to compare it in a simple way for you to see if you-" soobin was stopped. "Soobin soobin I'm kidding it's alright in the human world it's called teasing or a joke." Kai quietly giggled. Soobin was relieved he didn't offend their human, he just wanted to express how thankful he was. God why was he so bad with words...
       "So since we're all gonna be stuck together for- well hopefully evee if our plan goes well, tommorow I thought maybe I should show you guys what it's like to live a fun day as a human." Hueningkai gave a questioning tone to soobin. "What? Really? I thought what we've been doing was fun." Soobin was baffled. "No nooo school and bathing is like the least fun in the human world I'll take you guys to- hmmm how about camping? I'll tell my mom I'm going for a weekend camping trip with friends from school." Kai looked very proud of his idea.
     Wow. Camping? This human was so- agh soobin couldn't describe what he was. "Yeah, it's sounds fun. We should sleep if we're doing things tommorow then." Soobin adjusted his pillow and got in a more sleep like position.
      "Yeah, you're right. Goodnights soobs." Kai turned over and that was the end of the late night chat.

       "We're what?" Beomgyu was half awake, sitting up from the sleeping bag, with bed head. Trying to process the two figures standing in front of them holding packed backpacks and duffel bags. "Camping! I want to show you guys a fun human thing today since I have no school! C'mon since you're gonna be living here from now on you might as well act human." Kai smiled and clutched the camping gear in hand.
       Yeonjun saw that he woke soobin up, first try, and was impressed. This camping thing must be fun if soobin is interested enough to wake up early. "So how do you camping?" Yeonjun sat up in his cot and stretched to wake himself up.
    Taehyun came out of the bathroom fully dressed with two bags of his own. "Taehyun? You too?" Beomgyu looked at the eager boy. "I've read a lot about camping. It's not hard and I think some good human outdoors will he us adjusted to human life." Taehyun looked like an eager tourist.
     "Except, were still balancers . You know angel and devil ...so we can just NOT do the camping thing." Yeonjun laid back down. Beomgyu shared a look with Taehyun and then proceeded to help Taehyun drag yeonjun out of bed.
      Soobin had gotten up but was barely awake. He kept dozing while standing. Hueningkai felt soobins hair tickle his neck as he leaned on Kai for support. Kai didn't mind. He did wake him up pretty early, and the sight of yeonjun and Beomgyu fighting over how to pack a bag and Taehyun lecturing them, was pretty entertaining.
     "Alright, their packed after a miracle. Called me of course." Taehyun showed Kai beomgyu and yeonjun's perfectly packed camping bags, that, while thwy were bickering, Taehyun packed. "Alright then let's go theres a mountain near here with a cool river running through it, ive heard it's a nice place to camp." Kai opened the door and made his way downstairs.
    Beomgyu snorted and hit yeonjun's shoulder, pointing forward at Soobin, basically draped on Hueningkai. They were walking, but it still looked like soobin was asleep. Yeonjun laughed and stopped on the trail they were now hiking on. "Hey! What's this!!!?" Yeonjun looked up amazed at the sight. "that's a waterfall." Taehyun said, stopping to admire. "Jeez it's massive, what's it do?" Yeonjun wanted to fly over and swim in it, but he knew they had to get to their camping spot. "It does like the name says 'water' 'falls' like your body will if you keep leaning over the trail like that." Taehyun smiled and kept walking to catch up with soobin and kai.
     "Hey take a picture with me." Beomgyu pulled hueningkais phone up in a selfie pose with yeonjun. Yeonjun smiled and pretended to cry the waterfall as beomgyu snapped the picture. Beomgyu laughed and showed him. "I did learn about phones in heaven, I think we should be our own here and take more selfies next time." Beomgyu smiled at the picture. It was fun being a human.
     "Yeah..." Yeonjun admired seeing the angel that was usually fighting with him, smile at a picture they had taken together. "AHHHH WHERES MY PHONE??!" Hueningkai frantically felt around his pockets, waking soobin up with his scream.
     "I have it! Dont worry!" Beomgyu held it up to calm Hueningkai. Hueningkai relaxed seeing it and saw yeonjun staring at the waterfall again. Then soobin. Right. Angels and devil's probably haven't seen waterfalls.
     "Do you guys want to go for a swim?"
