The Angel or Devil Problem

Chapter 7

"Maybe humans pee more don't ask me I didn't study human restroom facts." Taehyun set his plate with soobins and stretched.

       Hueningkai hissed as he put water on the nape of his neck. He was by the river trying to ease the pain of his marks. "Why are they so sore, did I sleep funny? Damn. I'm gonna miss breakfast if I don't get back..." Kai pulled a turtleneck on and made his way back. "Hey there you are you alright?" Soobin offered Kai a plate. "Yeah I was just washing my face in the river." Kai took the plate and started eating. Soobin was a bit concerned with Kai's pale complexion but figured hey, be just woke up too, no one looks their best then.
      "Beomgyu, beomgyu wake up." Yeonjun continued to shake the angel but with no response. Beomgyu groaned and opened his eyes to glare at yeonjun. Yeonjun was relieved and cracked a cheesy smile. "Honey~ ive made you breakfast~" he laughed and watched beomgyu crawl out of their tent to meet the others at the fire.
     "Tssk.. so rude he completely ignored me." Yeonjun followed him out the tent. Everyone seemed pretty awake after eating something and stretching. "So you guys ready to trek all the way back down? My sisters want us to leave the things set up they're coming here with their friends tonight." Kai thought the balancers would be relieved at not having to carry the bags all the way back down but they looked done. "Listen...i love the whole human walk everywhere thing..but we've been in the human realm for a couple days now...can we show you one of the only good parts about being a balancer?" Yeonjun looked straight to Kai. "Yeah! Id love to do balancer things!" Kai beamed. The other balancers however, did not seem so pleased, they glared at yeonjun. "Using magic in the human realm is like using your human yeonjun...if you use some it could strain the human, and yourself but more importantly, the human in this case because...you know SOMEONE GAVE HIM FOUR BALANCERS." Taehyun gave a dirty look to yeonjun.
     "Maybe he's different guys he's had us for days and seems perfectly fine. Kai are you fine?" Yeonjun asked. Kai nodded, really wanting to see the 'fun balancer thing'. "See, hes fine let's go for a fly with him!" Yeonjun and kai beamed.
     "We should go one at a time at least so we don't strain his body too much hyung." Taehyun suggested a safer plan. "No we should all go why fly all the way down and have to wait for the others c'mon..." Hueningkai was so ready to fly.
    Before anyone else could protest, yeonjun grabbed Hueningkai and suddenly, yeonjun's wings were huge, lifting them both up into the sky, Hueningkai was completely mesmerized. He was flying. They were in the sky.
    Yeonjun smiled. "It's amazing right?" Hueningkai was too focused looking down at the ground from all the way up here to even answer. Yeonjun's wings then tingled, he didn't feel right. The council...it felt like the council was watching him....
      Yeonjun panicked, he had too....he dropped Hueningkai and stayed in the air, quickly casting a mirage around himself. The council was probably checking on him because he was on probation...if they saw he was in the human world, they'd find out everything...but why would they check on him now?
      Hueningkai went from amazed to absoloutly terrified, he was helpless in the air, falling to his death. He felt like he was going to pass out from the air rushing around him, this was awful. A loud impact of, not ground, but arms swooping him up I what broke his fear.
    "Soobin!" Hueningkai clinged to him. Just like soobin had clinged to kai in the water, he knew what it felt like now. "ARE YOU ALRIGHT??! WHERES YEONJUN?!! WHY WERE YOU FALLING?!!" soobin brushed his hand over hueningkais cheek examining for wounds.
   Hueningkai was distracted by how nice it felt...Being in a literal angels arms...in the sky...and now, Hueningkai could see soobins giant white wings above him, keeping them up, with the sun hitting, had he gone to heaven? It felt surreal.
    "Kai?!" Soobin finally got Hueningkai attention when they landed. As soon as Kai laid foot on the ground his marks started burning, it hurt like hell, from flying to falling and heaven to hell this sure had been the morning to remember so far.
    "I'm ok, thanks soobs.." Kai dusted himself off and bit his lip trying not to since at the burning on his neck. Maybe he should ask them...but if it was bad they would leave for sure...
    Beomgyu and Taehyun suddenly landed harshly next to Kai and Soobin. Beomgyu was carrying yeonjun. "Guys, were in trouble, the council has found out that the four of us are here....they want us AND Kai at the court within an hour to explain ourselves." Beomgyu looked frightened all to hell as he said that. Now Hueningkai was worried. His Advent with his new BALANCERS had just begun! Did the plan fail so soon?
    "What about yeonjun?" Kai looked at the boy with his arm around beomgyus shoulder. "They hurt him a bit..I'm worried that they'll kill him when we get there..." Beomgyu frowned. "We have to go, there's no running, they'll kill us anyway.." now, even Taehyun looked scared. Soobin still held Kai even standing. "Soobin what's the matter?.." Kai felt soobins grip around him getting tighter. "I really don't want this to end, we've only been a group for a little while and it's already been the best times ever...i think id rather die than go back to heaven.." he looked like he was a mixture of angry, worried, and sad. "Hey don't worry, they want us to explain ourselves right? Which means we have a chance? I won't let them seperated us ok? Promise?" Hueningkai tried to keep the mood light and interlocked his pinky with soobins. Taehyun grabbed yeonjun's other arm to help beomgyu carry him.
    "Here hold onto eachother im using the dust." Taehyun held a fistful of dust in his hand. Soobin held Kai's hand and went to link arms with beomgyu as Taehyun threw the dust. Hueningkai coughed at all the shining dust around them and when he could finally see, they were in a giant half white, half black court room.
     He wanted to be amazed and gawk, but he knew that humans weren't supposed to even see their balancers, how would he ever leave this place with all of them?"
