The Angel or Devil Problem

Chapter 19

           Soobin looked at Hueningkai huddled on his bed. "Kai i didn't mean to sound..." Soobin was cut off by Hueningkai sitting up and hugging him.
Well...sort of.
      Soobin had been standing beside the bed and Hueningkai ended up hugging him with his face in soobins neck and his hands rubbing soobins stomach.
      "IM SORRY TOO!!" Hueningkai muffled along soobins neck, tickling it. Soobin swallowed a giggle and went on to ask Kai.
    "Why are you sorry?" Soobin felt himself start to glow seeing Kai holding him tight and burying his face in his neck.
      "Im sorry i didn't tell you, please don't go...."
      Soobin could feel his shirt dampen when Kai said that. "Wh-what? Go? Kai I'm not going anywhere what are you talking about?" Soobin tried to pull back to look at the boy but Hueningkai only held on tighter.
       "If it spreads i know two lf you guys will have to leave! Im not an idiot! I don't want you guys to go!" Kai didn't try to hold I back now, he knew soobin could feel his tears soaking through his shirt.
     "Kai! We won't! I won't! Don't cry!" Soobin gently held the back of Kai's head to him. "I'm not leaving! We can visit the headwoman and fix it before it spreads too far!" Soobin almost forgot the cause of their feud downstairs.
      "Do you want me to kiss you? It'll fit the problem. Then two of us can go back to heaven and hell without punishment because we will have fulfilled the mission. I'll kiss you." Soobin tried to pull Hueningkai back but the boy gripped firmly.
      "Not in you want to." Kai's sentence was muffled and quiet but soobin heard it. "Unless i want to?" Soobin repeated.
      "Don't kiss me unless you like me." Hueningkai said, making soobin widen his eyes. "But- your crush-"
         "You idiot! You're my crush I've been so obvious how couldn't you know! Now I had to say it!!!!" Hueningkai shot back into his bed and covered his face. Soobin didn't know humans could glow. Especially not pink.
      Kai regretted ever getting angels and devils, him being confused over his first kiss brought them here and suddenly he liked an angel?! Soobin even told him that Angels arent allowed to love, stupid, stupid, stupid!!
         Soobin slowly pulled Kai's hand away from his face. "Hueningkai..." His voice sounded soft. Kai was ready, ready to get told 'angels can't date sorry! Especially not boys!!' he dreaded it.
       It never came though, Hueningkai opened his eyes to soobin planting kisses under his eyes. "Don't cry. Please don't cry."  Soobins voice was so tender and Hueningkai felt his heart racing with the gentle look soobin gave him. Hes kissing my face...Hueningkai was about to combust.
       "I feel the same....but you know we can't..." Hueningkais happy feeling dropped with the last words. "What?"
     "I do like you. So much. But we can't, angels can't date anyone, not humans, not angels, not devil's...." Soobin felt evil when Kai made a pained face.
     "Y-yah...you can't say you love me and then say we arent allowed to like eachother...." Kai's voice dipped in his throat when soobin pulled away.
     "I'll resign and do probation in heaven tommorow night. It'd be good if you forgot your feelings for me." Soobin was quick to leave the room. He hated himself. He hated being an angel. He'd rather be dirt.
         "Guys I'm going to resign." Soobin walked in on yeonjun pinning beomgyu to the sink?

         Soobin cut off yeonjun's words. Beomgyu shoved yeonjun off and faced soobin. "What?! Resigning?!" Beomgyu shrieked.
      "In fact...I should do it tonight..." Soobin looked down.
"WAIT WHAT WEVE COME SO FAR WHY ARE YOU RESIGNING?!" Beomgyu shook soobin by the shoulders. Taehyun entered the room hearing the shrieking. Yeonjun looked perplexed at the idea of one of them leaving now.
     "No, soobin why would you leave?" Taehyun was so confused why he was leaving all of a sudden. "I'll serve probation in heaven but i can't finish this mission, sorry beomgyu...." Beomgyu was the one that brought soobin here....he felt bad saying goodbye to him.
      Yeonjun then was afraid for his friend. "You don't want to go to probation soobin. Please reconsider they barely feed you, its dark, there's no one there and-" soobin shut yeonjun up.
     "I have to, say goodbye or I'll just leave without a word." Soobin felt his eyes drop as the fact that he was leaving Hueningkai, beomgyu, Taehyun, and yeonjun sunk in.
     "SOOBIN! COME ON THIS MAKES NO SENSE!" Yeonjun, taehyun, and Beomgyu looked hurt at Soobin. They were all trying to understand. Soobin ripped away and wiped his tears fast. He had to go, and they were making it hard. He quickly ran upstairs and slammed hueningkais door.
     He saw Hueningkai crying and holding his neck. "Don't you dare. Soobin....SOOBIN DONT DONT COME NEAR ME IM WARNING YOU!!!" Hueningkai one soobin was trying to remove his mark from his neck.
      "Kai- come on this hurts me too, please..." Soobin struggled to fight the squirming boy.
     Taehyun tried to open the bedroom door but it had been locked. "KAI DONT LET HIM REMOVE THE MARK!!" the three on the other side of the door started trying to break it down.
      "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?!! I TAKE IT BACK I DONT LOVE YOU! YOU CAN STAY!!" Kai begged while soobin forcefully pinned him down and touched his angel mark.
       Soobin leaned down and kissed hueningkais should softly, before removing his mark and vanishing quickly. Hueningkai felt a weight off of him, but the worst kind he had ever thought he would feel.
     Taehyun finally broke the door frame and ran I with beomgyu and yeonjun. "WHERES SOOBIN?!"
  "SOOBIN?!!"
   "KAI YOU DIDNT-" beomgyu saw the lifeless looking boy laying on the bed, missing an angel mark.
     "I- i tried I didn't wa-want..." Hueningkai didn't move, only cried into his mattress.
     Beomgyu realized his situation and laid next to him, hugging him as the other two followed suit.
       "Hes gone-" yeonjun, putting aside his manly pride. Couldn't help but cry with Hueningkai. He held his hand and sympathized.
Taehyun could feel the pain they were all in. He didn't me to hear it. Soobin just vanished, forcefully. Taehyun hurt too. Hueningkais desperate sobs for soobin made it pretty clear to him how much he hated being a balancer. Nothing was fair after life or in life.
