The Angel or Devil Problem

Chapter 16

       "Can i have a kiss?" Yeonjun asked the cat that noticed them enter the house. The cat hissed and tried to scratch him.
     "Hhhheeeehhhcc to you too then. Rude kitty." Yeonjun hissed back and watched beomgyu laugh. "Did you really expect the cat to kiss you? Cats don't kiss devils" Taehyun laughed at yeonjun and hung up their coats.
     " You're just sad because it wouldn't kiss you either." Yeonjun slid his shoes off and huffed upstairs.
     "What? What does it have to do with being a devil? The cat won't kiss me either." Beomgyu pointed to the cat hissing at him.
    "It was a joke beomgyu. Would you kiss a devil? Like that." Taehyun laughed and followed yeonjun upstairs.
     Beomgyu thought to himself. Why was there a difference saying that devil's were bad? Yeonjun and Taehyun were their friends and they were devil's. He frowned thinking that those were the kind of jokes they heard in hell.
       "Soobin." Hueningkai murmured. He woke up when he felt soobin set him on the bed.
       "Yeah?sorry I woke you..." Soobin laid I his spot next to him.
         "I lied about my crush."Hueningkai smiled softly, he was drowsy and Soobin was surprised.
      "Kai that's not good....you need to tell us who it is so we can all your problem. Why would you lie?!" Soobin whisper shouted since everyone else was getting ready to sleep.
     "Soobin, do you like being my angel?" Hueningkai avoided the question with one of his own.
"What? Why wouldn't I? Don't avoid my question why did you lie?" Soobin saw the human slowly turn over and pretend to sleep.
      "Kai....please? You can't say you lied to me unless you tell me the truth, if we don't fix your problem were all in trouble..." Soobin gently leaned over the boy and pulled his shoulder trying to get him to face him.
       Hueningkai willingly turned back over and stared into soobins eyes. "Have you ever had a crush?" Hueningkai asked another question, making soobin a little uneasy with how much he avoided the question.
     "Hueningkai I'm not going to answer your questions if you don't answer mine." Soobin gave a firm look to assure Kai that his lips wouldn't move again without an answer.
      "Then we can answer questions in turns, and we HAVE to answer them with the truth." Hueningkai sat up and nearly bashed heads with soobin. Fortunately, soobin ducked back in time for the boy to sit up.
     "I want to go first." Hueningkai faced the boy excited. Soobin was hesitant. "How do I know you won't lie to my questions?" Soobin didn't think a pinky promise would be very efficient in this situation.
       "Angel magic can only be used to do good things right?" Hueningkai then took soobins hand. "Hey-hey yeah but why do you need my hand?!" Soobin panicked when he saw Hueningkai holding soobins hand to his chest, while pulling his shirt collar down.
      "Cross my heart hope to die. Make an X so that if I lie the X will glow, like an angel. I want one for you too though." Hueningkai smiled and held soobins hand over his heart.
      Soobin was surprised that the boy was so determined to know the truth, he held a finger out and drew an 'x' hovering abover Kai's chest. "Alright, it'll glow when you lie, so don't even try." Soobin smiled now that he could get the truth of any question he wanted from the boy.
       "Hey hey, put one on you too!" Hueningkai waited until soobin drew a hovering x over his heart.
        "Ok, humans first." Soobin waited for his question. "Have you ever had a crush?" Hueningkai stared eagerly at the x on soobins chest and awaited the answer.
         "I don't know.....we can't remember our past lives, and relationships are forbidden in heaven and hell because breeding isn't necessary when people die and become angels or devil's." Soobin thought about the question, and answered as honest as he could.
        Hueningkai gasped and let out a squeal, gently hitting soobin. "IT GLOWED YOU LIED ON THE FIRST QUESTION YAH!" Hueningkai waited for soobins explanation before hitting him again.
       No, its the truth, it's banned? I don't remember ever having a crush..? Soobin then felt his heart hurt at a thought, and decided to twist his lie to make it pass as true.
      "Ive never had a crush" soobin tried again and Hueningkai was let down when the x on soobins chest didn't glow. "Its not a lie then...." Hueningkai sulked and waited for soobin to ask his question.

      "Whos your crush?"

"Oh c'mon can my first question be a little calmer than that?"Hueningkai begged.
      "I'm just going to keep asking that question who is it?" Soobin crossed his arms.
    Soobin was a little upset Hueningkai was so hesitant to tell him, they were friends, balancer and human, lov-
     "Fine fine. It's someone you know very well." Hueningkai smirked and leaned his head in his palm.
      "What's her name?" Soobin felt anxious now. In a way he didn't want to know her name, or anything about her.
      "I said I would tell you who they are, not their name." Hueningkai laughed. "Then whats their name????" Soobin leaned forward. "Mm mm you used your question." Hueningkai laughed and rubbed his stomach.
     "Ahhh soobinie you just can't unsmart me~~" Hueningkai laughed when soobin tried to writh away.
          "Am i interupting something?" Taehyun made himself known as he crunched down on a carrot. Soobin and Hueningkai sat up quickly. "How long were you there?" Soobin was embarrassed.
       "Long enough to hear your baby game of 20 questions." He took another bite. "Come downstairs Yeonjun's allowing Beomgyu to poison our dinner."
         Hueningkai took this as the perfect opportunity to escape his game with Soobin and bolted past Taehyun.
        When the boy was well down the stairs Taehyun made eye contact with Soobin. "I can see through your bunny head soobs." Taehyun smirked and crunched his carrot slowly.
     "What do you mean???" Soobin was stopped at the doorway by Taehyun waving his carrot around.
      "You like him don't you?"
