"FRANCINE!!!"
Miranda called at the four year old who ran around the house completely naked.
She had been giving her a bath so early in the morning on her wedding day.
Because Francine was stubborn and could not allow any one else to wash her.
It was five am.
After an hour Francine was clean, she started getting ready.
Brides maids dolling her up, and getting ready themselves.
She could hear the commotion outside as Zayn and his family negotiated with her family to let her go and marry him.
It was tradition.
He had to pay anyone who demanded to be paid so that he could go and get ready.
She did not like this part of tradition.
But tradition was tradition and it had to be followed.
Later they were on their way to church.
She looked at her mother and smiled.
She was about to be married to the love of her life.
Zayn waited patiently on Miranda.
He was overjoyed he almost cried.
His grooms men stood behind him.
He fastened his tie.
He wore a black suit.
First he saw the flower girls.
Francine was there.
Coming adorably in a red dress.
Throwing flowers all around her and on herself.
He laughed.
His daughter was his constant source of joy.
Then the brides maids.
Then he heard the piano.
Everyone stood up and his eyes widened in anticipation of his bride.
She wore a beautiful cream dress.
She had her hair tied up and a tiara on it as well.
Her mother by her side so happy for her child.
She had gloves on her hands.
He remembered how she had searched for a dress for so many days before she found one. The right one.
Then he looked at her, she was ever so radiant.
Beautiful and oh so dashing.
He remembered her when he had first met her in primary school and her scowl.
When they had met again in high school.
The disappointment on her face.
When they met in campus.
Her beautiful skin.
When he met her at the office and how happy he was.
When he had met her at the ball.
And when they had met the last time at the café.
He was glad he had finally found her.
Because she was a gem. One no one could afford to loose.
She smiled as she stood across from him.
" do you Zayn Kuria take Miranda Wanga as your wife?"
A tear fell.
"yes."
" And do you Miranda take Zayn Kuria as your husband?"
She smiled.
"yes."
A tear fell.
"you are now wedded. You may..."
She had already kissed him and everyone clapped.
And what ever had before separated them was no match. For they had gotten married and most of all they had God's blessing.
And nothing was a match for that.
...
Miranda and Zayn and Francine continued living.
I will not say happy ever after because by now we all know nothing of the sort exists.
But they lived.
Fighting and making up.
They had more children.
And no one really knows what happened after their wedding that day.
After they left the church in their car.
Whether they are still together is unknown.
Whether they got a divorce no one knows.
All these matters are unknown.
But for the sake of everyone I hope they never did.
That they stayed together and most of all
that
they
lived.
THE END.
Im so sad that this is over but
Thank you to all my readers who have read this story.
And to those who made it this far.
Miranda is a story I am very happy to have written and I hope it brings you so much joy.
It was also very cheesy at the end and fairytailish but I love myself a good fairy tale story.
