Jordan sighs out loud as she watches him sleep, yes, she is hungry but she hates waking people up, so she rather watch him breathe and wonder if maybe she shows up in his dreams.

After waiting for another half an hour, she decides to get up from the bed the slowest and softest way possible so he doesn't wake up. She goes to the bathroom and then walks down to his kitchen.

The brunette opens the fridge for a glass of water because she would never take food or anything else when a noise behind her scares her almost making her drop everything.

"Oh my days!" She yells as she places her hand on her chest after leaving the jar on the counter. She turns around to face two boys. "Yikes," She spats as the two pairs of eyes stare at her.

Thankfully, Jordan decided to get dress before walking down the stairs, or at least she put on her underclothes and leggings on but she is still wearing his shirt.

"So, you two are really a thing," Joe speaks while raising a brow.

"And you have his house keys," She responds finally pouring some water into a glass.

"We were actually about to return it," The Scottish speaks as he lays himself fall on a chair, Jordan shrugs in response, she doesn't care whatever Trent does with his stuff, it's his business anyway.

"I hope we didn't interrupt anything," Joe jokes.

"Nah, homeboy is asleep," She replies making them chuckle. "Want water?" She asks them before putting the jar back into the fridge. They both nod and she takes two more glasses and serves them the drink.

"So, will you be coming to our annual Christmas dinner?" Andrew wonders before sipping his water.

"Your what?" Jordan frowns.

"He hasn't told you anything?" Joe asks and she denies with her head.

"What is that?"

"It's a dinner we have at the club to celebrate Christmas, everyone brings their wives or girlfriends," Joe explains and she nods in understatement.

"And you two have girlfriends?" She questions them with a raised brow as they both nod.

"He even has a whole kid!" Joe points Andrew and her eyes open wide.

"You are shitting me!" She raises her voice. "That is so fucking cute!" She gives him a wide smile and he smiles back as his cheeks turn a bit rosy.

"He is named Rocco," He adds and her face falls.

"Why?" She replies confused making Joe laugh.

"What is wrong with the name?" Roberston asks the two.

"It's a" Jordan stops to look for words that won't hurt. "Like, kind of a weird name for a human being," She finishes awkwardly.

"Just say it, Jordan," Joe speaks. "We all know or knew a dog named Rocco, it's a dog's name Andrew." He states and Andrew looks at her and she gives him a nod.

"Well, fuck both of you," He replies but they could sense some humor in his voice making them laugh.

A few steps interrupt their conversation as Trent appears in the kitchen with just his sweatpants on. "What are you all doing here?" He speaks with a frown on his face.

"Hanging with our new bestie," Joe jokes as he winks at Jordan.

"Back off, Gomez," Trent responds as he places his arm around Jordan's neck, who just rolls her eyes.

"I'm kidding," He laughs. "So, we just came here to give you your key back," He adds.

"And we were going to hang out but you are busy," The Scottish shrugs as he looks at Jordan.

"No, he is not," Jordan replies. "I was about to go home," She smiles.

Trent gives her a confused look. "Okay," He nods still not understanding why she wants to leave so fast.

"I'll see you, lads," She smiles to his teammates and gives him a peck on the lips before running to the front door. "Bye!" She screams one last time before the sound of the door closing.

"If you break her heart, you are catching these hands," Joe declares cutting the silence between the three teammates.

"What?"

"Do you love her?" Andy wonders.

"Am I being interrogated right now? At my own kitchen?" Trent responds.

"Answer the question," Joe states as he crosses his arms over his chest.

"What do I know?" He suspires.

"Love is the hardest to understand because we don't just fall in love with someone and get over them overnight, right when we decide we want to. You didn't choose to love her in the first place, and you don't get to choose when you stop... but that's the thing about this type of love. It's uncontrollable, it's spontaneous, it's confusing. it's beautiful, it's painful, it's full of risks and taking chances, and most of all, it's life-changing." Andy explains.

"Did Henderson took over you?" Trent jokes but he receives a glare from the two other men seating on his kitchen. "I'm sorry, why is it life-changing?"

"Because no one who falls into love comes out the same person as they were before," Joe adds.

Trent remains in silence. He has always said how much he wanted to enjoy his young years, not tied down to anyone, be free and enjoy life. But Jordan has changed his view over life and know he finds himself in a mess and in a battle with his head.

Maybe she is just the right person but at the wrong time.
